Chapter 8 - Chapter 8:Our origin(past)

Saya continued with her history lesson, which honestly wasn't necessary for all these elite students.

An hour later, she finally dismissed the students and turned her gaze to Akari, who sighed in relief as if celebrating the end of this nightmare.

Saya tilted her head, playful yet alert. "Oh? Did I go too easy on them?"

"No… that's not important. I'm a clone."

"Excuse me?"

Akari shook her head, her gaze distant. "No… Saya. This body… it's only a clone. The real me is waiting."

Saya's smirk faltered for a brief moment. "Waiting… where?"

Akari's eyes glimmered with quiet power. "The middle of the Pacific Ocean."

Saya blinked. "…Figures." She let out a soft chuckle. "Fine. I'll play along. I kind of suspected you were a clone anyway."

Before anyone could react, Saya rose effortlessly into the air, her silver hair streaming behind her. The wind tore through the hallway as she shot toward the sky, leaving a streak of violet light in her wake.

Akari's real body hovered above the ocean's vast expanse, waves sparkling like liquid mirrors under the sun. As Saya approached, her expression unreadable, Akari extended her hand.

"This is everything," Akari said softly. "I need you to understand who we truly were… and who you truly are."

Saya's eyes narrowed, curiosity flaring beneath her playful facade.

"This is all moving too fast. Can't I at least take a moment to admire your beauty?" she quipped, winking.

Akari sighed at her playfulness and moved closer, touching Saya's cheek.

Before Saya could blush from her intimate action, waves of foreign memories surged into her mind — a long-distant reality… a dying reality…

....

The Cosmic Realm trembled. Stars wailed, suns folded into dust, and entire universes froze in silence. At the heart of it all stood the Crimson Calamity of the End — her presence devouring the very color from existence.

Her silver hair floated like threads of starlight drowned in blood. Her eyes were blank, emotionless. No hatred. No mercy. Just function. She was a weapon — nothing more, nothing less.

Across the shattered heavens, a second light descended — warm, radiant, impossibly gentle. The Mother of All Races, the Creation Goddess, whose breath had once birthed worlds. Her form shimmered like dawn; her long golden hair bled into the very fabric of reality. She stared at the Calamity — not as an enemy, but with pity.

"Crimson Calamity of the End… why must thou persist in ruin?"

The Calamity tilted her head slightly, her tone flat and detached.

"Why must thou create… if only to watch it perish?"

The Crimson Calamity moved. Her punch hurled the Goddess of Creation through multiple planets. Shockwaves destroyed countless stars.

The creation goddess was swept across three celestial realms, each vaporizing on impact.

She stopped herself with a graceful sweep of her arm, summoning the Sword of Genesis.

Raising it high, its tip bloomed with the intense destruction of a sun.

"Then I shall unmake… so that creation may be reborn!"

Her sword struck like golden fire, sending the Crimson Calamity flying across realms, leaving devastation in her wake.

The Calamity smirked. Her missing arm regenerated instantly from blocking the blow, eyes flickering with faint crimson light.

She whispered a single word:

"End."

Turning into a crimson light, she rushed through realms, vaporizing them with her mere presence.

The Goddess of Creation, seeing her enemy approaching, slashed once more. The Crimson Calamity met her sword with a fist, and the resulting shockwave destroyed the realm they were in, burying countless planets.

Every impact cracked existence itself. Sound vanished. All that remained in their ears was the laughter of despair.

"Eheheheheh… ueheheheheehe."

Red markings spread across the Crimson Calamity's body. Countless mouths and devilish eyes appeared, laughing and watching.

The creation goddess frowned, raising her sword again. A faint multicolored glow flickered along its tip.

The Crimson Calamity raised her marked arm. Her detached, pitch-black eyes met the goddess's gaze.

Both struck again.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOOOM!

Their clash shattered the dying reality. Existence crumbled into nothingness.

After several minutes, a pale white-haired girl opened her eyes and rose. Strikingly beautiful, with long silver hair and flickering red eyes, she stared calmly at the woman before her.

"Thy hand… hath won."

The voice was soft yet calm.

"I, the Crimson Calamity, concede. Four wishes, O Mother of Beginnings. Speak them."

The goddess stared silently at her. Then she whispered:

"Thou shalt not destroy the realms again."

"Thou shalt protect the realms from despair."

"Thou shalt remain with me—forevermore."

"Thou shalt forget who thou art, until love finds thee again."

The Crimson Calamity's lips curved slightly, a faint echo of amusement.

"Then so be it… creator."

They stared at each other in a blank reality of nothingness. Their bodies dissolved into ribbons of light. The Creation Goddess's power reshaped existence, cycling all life and reality back into being.

...

Saya's breathing grew heavy as she touched her forehead, struggling for air. Memories of a past life pressed painfully against her mind.

Akari stared at her with pity, conviction, and determination.

"N–Nine billion t-times… I destroyed everything. Nine billion Realities!. A-All gone because of me!!" Saya's body trembled, and she collapsed.

Akari caught her, holding her tightly.

"You might have destroyed everything, but this time… this time it will be different. I will make you happy."

...
