The annual Festival of Unity was a celebration of Valeria's diverse cultures and magical heritage. Trainees and citizens alike gathered in the grand courtyard, which was adorned with colourful banners and illuminated by floating lanterns.
For Alex, the festival was a welcome break from his intense training. He walked through the bustling stalls with Liora and Taranis, sampling exotic foods and marvelling at magical displays.
"It's incredible," Alex said, watching a performer conjure a dragon of shimmering light.
"It's one of the few times everyone comes together," Liora explained. "No matter their background or magical affinity."
As night fell, the festival reached its peak with a spectacular display of magic. Elders from the Citadel showcased their abilities, casting spells that painted the sky with brilliant, vibrant colours and shapes.
During the festivities, Alex felt a sense of belonging. Valeria was more than just a place of magic– it was a community, a home. He vowed to protect it with all his might.
