Perseus POV -
I was resting on the Elysium in my room. It has been three days since I signed the contract with Mephistopheles. After that I spent my entire time on the Elysium. I have spent my time either with the people or with Morgana and Selina.
But Selina is quite busy from the last three days. The newly awakened Mutant was not found yet. She has came close to finding him or her many times but at the last moment he slipped of. Right now she went again to find him.
I was busy thinking when the door of my room opened and a very enraged Selina entered in the room. Seeing her beautiful face that was red with anger I could not help but let out chuckle. It is not quite often when you see a powerful, resourceful and influential women as her to loose calm and be at disadvantage.
She heard my chuckle and said,''Quite funny isn't it?''
I lost the battle to keep myself from laughing and laughed out loud. I said, '' Let me guess, Empty hand again.''
She said,'' It's not funny.''
I said amused,'' Yes Yes I know.''
She said, '' Then stop laughing. '' I try to suppress my laugh and she said, '' Is your ego not hurting? Your women is being bulied and you are laughing.'' She tried to manipulate me.
I said, '' There are some misconception here :-
First - I may be a prideful God but not a egoistic one.
Second - You can not be bullied by others. If you and bully are in the same sentence in a positive sense then it will be other way around.
And Third - My dear Selina you are trying to manipulate my emotions, stimulate me to get angry but I think you forgot I am the God of emotions.
But yes I will help you in finding him. He successfully managed to get my attention.''
She smiled and said,'' So how are you going to find him? ''
I said, '' That's for me to decide. But I have plenty of ways to find him.''
I then focused on my life domain to sense the life on the entire earth. Then I used my abilities on Mutants. I focused on them and then I can feel the life signature of the Mutants on the entire earth.
Since I can feel everyone of them then It is not hard to find one Mutant but at this moment something interesting happened. Although I can feel his life signature but that's it. I can't feel anything about him. No psychic link, No energy release nothing.
I said, '' Interesting. Very interesting. ''
Selina asked,'' What even you failed?'' But I can hear the gloating and self satisfaction from a mile.
So I said in mocking tone,'' I don't fail unlike some.'' She huffed and turned her head away. Then she asked without looking at me,'' So if You found him so what's so interesting? ''
I Said,'' Although I did found him but I can't sense anything about him. It is quite interesting.''
Even her eyes shown with interest. She said,''What kind of ability is this? And If he is like this then how did you find him?''
I said,'' An ability that gives him protection. Specifically what we will know when we will get there. And how I found him well he is alive. And any living or dead being comes under my jurisdiction. It is quite hard for someone to hide from me if I want to find them and especially impossible in my range.
I sensed all the living beings in the world then I separated the Mutants from them. And then I found him from those Mutants. First thing is that I used his own ability. Since his ability is hiding him then I try to sense the Life energy, Psychic energy, Soul energy from every one of the Mutants and he was the only one who does not have any of those. So Bingo!''
She said, '' You did all this calculation in just a second. ''
I said,'' I may not be a genius like Anna but when it's come to my domains, my powers then I am quite proficient because an untrained ability is a burden. So let's go and see this mysterious figure.''
Then I teleported to the place we sensed him and we found ourselves in front of a restaurant. We went inside and it was quite easy to see him inside because there are only seven people inside. I went to the person who sat on the far end of the room.
I sat in front of him and said, '' It is not easy to find you.''
He did not looked surprised, '' I had a feeling that someone is following me but I did not expect you to find him.''
I smiled and said, '' Extra reliance on your abilities can very well become the reason to your downfall. And from what I see that you can't even train your ability. It is passive isn't it.''
He did not answered but nodded in yes. Selina was quite confused till now and she asked,'' Percy what is his ability? And why was he able to hide from our people? ''
I said,'' His ability is protection. That means that his ability protects and hide him from every danger. This grants him total immunity from every attack be it spiritual or physical. And that is the reason you was not able to track him. Isn't it Mr. ''
He said,'' Aljendro. And yes you are right.''
Selina said,'' What a bug like ability. Doesn't it make him immortal? I means his ability will make him immune to anything that harm him. Any kind of attacks, flue, accidents and diseases.''
I said,'' No not immortal. He can be killed or die. It is not known if he ages or not and secondly there are many things that can kill him. But they need to be top gear and powerful. Like Longinus, Mjolnir, Gungir, Lighting bolt, Necrosword, infinity stones and other things. They can kill him as easily as pinching a ant to death.''
Aljedro said, '' Although I am quite happy to hear the things that can kill me but I want to know why are you two here? ''
