"I didn't kill them." Cleora stated bluntly, her gaze hardening as she glanced at her daughter.
"You did." Coco mumbled, eyebrows furrowing.
"I didn't." Cleora insisted, feeling a little agitated at her daughter's blunt words and got more upset at the fact that she's accusing her own mother of killing her two sisters.
Isn't it different? Cleora thought, her heart clenching at the sight of Coco's face.
"You did, mama." Coco retorted, just as hardheaded as her mother and refusing to back down at all.
"How is that me killing them?" Cleora asked, a frown settling in her face. "I merely asked for the mother tree to bring the four of us in the same world. Is that bad?"
"No, not really." Coco answered honestly, then she huffed. "But you specifically told me that you asked the mother tree to kill the two of them."
