"Finally, they're done!" Belk announced, watching the phones that laid before them with only a week to spare. Astra watched the two bulky contraptions sitting right before her, a weary smile spreading across her face as she crouched taking a good look at their month's work.
They once again stood in the Poulian forest, one the phones connected to a wire that winds up all the way to the tallest point in their village.
"This is probably one of our longest projects yet," Vagnis sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.
"But it was worth it wasn't it?" Belk hit Vagnis' shoulder with a grin.
"Not yet," Astra muttered, getting up from the ground and picking up one.
"Huh?"
"We'll only know if we test it out…" She stated plainly, her head nodding to the other phone asking Godrick to pick it up. WIth a grunt he did just that, going deeper into the forest as Astra watched his back.
"Belk go with him," she instructed.
"Right!"
