Chapter 441 - Chapter 658: Champions

Isaac and the Ten Councilors looked out the window—they could clearly see the five intruders bulldozing through the Blue House defenses, step by step, before their eyes.

Even the three Elite trainers had fallen to them.

"Who are they?" the Third Councilor asked coldly.

"A Silver Metagross—who else do you think it could be?"

"Julian?"

"They're using Ditto to disguise their faces."

No one present was an idiot—seeing that Silver Metagross, such a distinctive Pokémon, there was no way they wouldn't know who it belonged to.

Plus, ever since Julian had escaped the military base, he had vanished without a trace.

That person's face might not look like Julian, but with a Silver Metagross beside him, there was no doubt—it was definitely him.

As for the other four with him, they were undoubtedly Drakorian trainers as well—though whether their faces were also altered by Ditto was unclear.

One thing was certain: Drakorian trainers had stormed Wyvernia's political heart.

This was a blatant, humiliating slap to the face.

Regardless of their political stances, all Ten Councilors wore equally grim expressions.

"What do we do?" the Fifth Councilor asked.

With the Blue House's current defenses, there was no stopping these five.

Champion Andrew was already dead. Of Wyvernia's two peak Pseudo-Champions, one wasn't here, and the other had been killed by Julian.

The country only had ten Pseudo-Champions in total, and the other eight were scattered across different regions—too far to help in time.

Havenburg did have over a dozen Elite trainers, though, and since this was the heart of chaebol influence, they could mobilize even more if necessary.

"I'll handle it," William said.

"If Patriarch Lancaster steps in, those five are as good as dead," the Second Councilor said with a smirk.

A few other Councilors nodded in agreement.

In fact, having William crush the five with overwhelming force was the best solution.

After all, if they really sent in a dozen Elites to gang up on them, not only was it uncertain whether they could win, but the collateral damage from the battle would probably level half of Havenburg.

So, overwhelming them with absolute power and ending it quickly was the wisest approach.

---

"Looks like the main event's here."

Julian's gaze sharpened as a figure appeared two or three hundred meters ahead.

"Well, guess we're off, then," Asher said.

Julian nodded.

The other four left one after another—but they weren't really leaving. They were going to handle other tasks.

After all, an assault on the Blue House would inevitably draw powerful trainers as reinforcements

Their job was to intercept them and give Julian enough space to fight.

"Julian."

The man stopped a hundred meters away and called his name outright.

"I'm not the dashing, irresistible Julian. My name is Kim Kimchi," Julian replied with deadpan sincerity.

The name wasn't something he made up on the spot—his identity in Wyvernia was actually registered as Kim Kimchi, complete with verifiable records matching his current disguised face.

William, caught off guard by Julian's shamelessness, paused before chuckling. "Well then, Kim Kimchi, where shall we fight? The Blue House can be rebuilt, but I'd rather our battle not level half of Havenburg."

"Fine by me."

Julian agreed. He had no interest in unnecessary bloodshed either.

They decided on a mountainous forest about ten kilometers from the Blue House.

As for whether William might have an ambush waiting there—well, if there really was one, Julian would just summon Mewtwo.

The two headed toward the forest, one leading, the other following.

---

Meanwhile, Jake was still rushing over—and when he heard from Bellsprout that his son was about to fight the son of Wyvernia's previous Champion—who very likely had two Champion-level Pokémon with him—Jake was so shocked he almost fell off his Skarmory.

He immediately demanded to know why Bellsprout hadn't stopped Julian.

Bellsprout: 'I'm the one who suggested it—how could I stop him?'

Of course, he didn't say that out loud. Instead, he calmly assured Jake that Julian was confident he could hold his own.

Whether Julian would actually make it through in one piece would depend on how fast Jake could get there.

Jake: 'What kind of son screws over his own dad like this?!'

If something really happened to Julian, his wife would divorce him—and Indeedee would probably kill him on the spot.

'Damn it!'

"Skarmory, forget about my comfort—fly like your life depends on it!" Jake shouted.

Skarmory: 'I'm already so exhausted I'm about to stick out my tongue!'

But despite grumbling inwardly, Skarmory really did pick up the pace.

Back in the forest, Julian and William had already arrived.

Pop! Pop!

William sent out two Pokémon.

Two Grass-type Champion-level Pokémon—fortunately, both were still early-stage Champions. If they had reached mid-stage Champion-level, Julian would have had no choice but to summon Mewtwo.

Under the oppressive aura of a Champion-level Pokémon, even without any active pressure, the air felt as thick as mercury. Julian could feel his breathing becoming strained.

But then, a faint warmth spread through his chest—and the suffocating sensation vanished instantly.

It was the two Unown inside him that were helping him.

"These are my father's Pokémon," William said calmly. "If you leave now, I can arrange for your safe return to Drakoria."

His father had been dead for decades, and these two Champion-level Pokémon were the only ones left behind by him for the family.

If not for the fact that he was their original trainer's son, simply summoning them to deal with a mere Pseudo-Champion would have been enough to provoke their wrath.

Even now, Serperior was glaring at him with clear disdain.

Serperior were notoriously proud creatures—they obeyed no one but their own trainer.

By forcing it to intervene even once, William would likely burn his only chance to command it. If he wasted that opportunity, there wouldn't be a next time.

That was why he wanted Julian to back down willingly—so he could preserve this trump card for a true crisis.

Grass-types already had long lifespans, and at the Champion level, these two could easily live for centuries.

Of course, the Lancaster family of Five Star Group had more than just these two Champion-level Pokémon.

But these were the only ones William could actually command—the other Champions wouldn't even acknowledge him.

Unless the Lancaster family was facing total annihilation, they'd never show themselves.
