"Speaking of our mission what is it?" I ask no in the group in particular. We are already out of first light camp. Walking in the almost empty concrete rooms.
"I knew I was forgetting something. Basically we are finding anything useful. This is a gathering mission." Will says while keeping an eye on the surrounding. His head on a almost constant swivel.
I just nod understanding. I look at Connie. "You seem nervous?"
"I'm not nervous I just don't like being out here." His eyes constantly moving to to every corner of the room.
"Uh huh..." I decide to ignore him and look at Tina. "You seem the most calm?"
"In a way I guess." She gives a half hearted awnser.
'Man this group could not function without will. He's the only person that talks.' While thinking this I see will holding back a laugh.
I just sigh and shake my head. We then turn a corner and see a crate. We all immediately head towards it being cautious of our surroundings.
I'm the first one to the crate. I just open it not really worried only for a snake to lunge at me. I grab it bellow it's jaw and snap its neck I then toss it aside.
I then toss the a pack of bread to will behind me. Tossing the random trinkets behind me. Finding a hammer I just grab it. "Thats everything." I say as I turn around. Only to see them giving me a weird look.
"You're scary you know that?" Connie said while shaking his head. I just scratch the back of my head.
"This feels weird to ask after you said that. But nobody minds if I keep the hammer while we're wandering around." The akward smile i get while telling the others that I get how this probably makes me look scarier.
They look at each and just chuckle.
"We don't mind." Will sais while shaking his head. I just nod and move away from the crate back to them.
"Are we going to leave the snake corpse? We could probably cook it." This time Tina is the one who responds.
"We're not wasting wood on a fire. We barely have any left." I frown in thought and look back at the empty crate. "So why don't we just take the crate?"
Will smiles helplessly. "We would but they dissappear when the lights go out. We would have to get ridiculously lucky to get it back without having the lights go out."
I nod 'that makes sense.' I then move towards them. "Okay thanks for Awnsering my questions." I say with a light smile.
They nod and we start moving. As we get to the hallway the lights go out. "Shit" that was said by Connie. They all put their back to the wall. I hear scraping claws as a couple dogs come running at me.
"Shit get down." Will said in warning. But I swing my hammer at a dog that lunged at me. It's head caves in. I then move to the side as I hear another lunge and swing in the direction I used to be standing. I hear a crack and a dog like whimper. I move to the sound and swing. The whimpering stops and the lights come on.

I see my hammer in the head of a dog like monster. I pull it out and look at the other dog. 'That was its neck not its head.' I think as I see it's broken neck.
I look back towards the group. They look at me with shocked faces except for Tina. "Damn dude we might as well be traveling with a Meg soldier." Will sais with a chuckle. Connie just nods while Tina narrows her eyes at me. "Are you a Meg soldier?"
I shake my head no as I move toward the hallway we were about to enter. I look towards them. "You coming?" Connie looks at me in apprehension. "You weren't bit right?" I shake my head no and do a slow spin for them. "See no bite." They sigh in relief as they move toward me.
We then head in the hallway. After that there are no more incidents as we finish the mission. finding 3 more crate before we decided it was enough.
We head in a direction and eventually find a door. They nock in a pattern and the door opens with a gun getting stuffed in their face. I smile as I see him. "Yo Tanner don't you get a break?" He slumps at my words. "Yeah but only 4 hours. We can't spare many people and people who know how to use a gun are even rarer." I shake my head. "That's rough buddy." I say in pity as we walk in.
He just waves in depression as we walk away. "I didn't even know the gate guards name untill now. As expected of you." Will sais as we walk back to the mission center. The other two just nod at his words like they completely agree.
'Why are they acting weird all of the sudden.' I squint at will.

"Uhm sure let's just turn in this mission." We quickly turn in the mission Lin being the one at the counter.
"Do you guys have like a team tent?" I ask them after we walk away from the mission center.
"No we don't. We all live separately but we can if you want. We just have to move our tents beside each other." Connie seems to just be saying his thoughts out loud and the other two are just nodding along like the thoughts are genius.
He points to a spot "let's put our tents their." They just nod and walk away from me. They all come back with a gloded tent and a cart carrying their things. They look at me with confusion.
"Do you not have a tent?" Tina asks to which I just shake my head no. "I only got here a day ago."
"That's fine with three tents together it should be more than enough room." Tina says as they start to set up their tents.
