Realizing this, Bill didn't wait for Luffy to rejoin the battle and took advantage of his temporary edge. Charging at the pirate as he got up, Bill was slightly surprised by the persistence of the man with a 30 million Beli bounty.
Trying to capture and throw his opponent to the ground, Bill was surprised by his opponent's strength as they both started wrestling, trading punches, kicks, and jabs, with Luffy even biting Bill's iron-like skin.
After what seemed like an eternity, they returned to a standing position. Standing on a large terrace, Bill showed no visible damage but was breathing more heavily than usual, while Luffy's face had bruises, though otherwise, he looked as good as before the fight.
In that moment of silence, Bill heard a noise behind him and shouted, "Straw Hat Luffy, you are under arrest! Stop resisting!"
Unfazed, Luffy glared at Bill angrily and shouted back, "No! Give me back my nakama!"
Confused, then angry, Bill responded irritably, "Your crew members? I don't have a single one of your people! But don't worry, soon all of them will be behind bars, pirate!"
Bill didn't know, and perhaps wouldn't have even cared to consider, but those were the worst words he could have said, as the thought of losing his crew infuriated the man with the 30 million Beli bounty.
Wasting no time, Luffy rushed forward towards Bill, swinging his arms far back.
At that moment, Bill heard a crash from below and immediately jumped back just as the Bear King broke through the floor from underneath. Now he was not just red-hot—he was completely on fire.
This enormous pirate, who probably thought his dramatic entrance would give him the advantage of surprise, couldn't have known he was positioned right between Bill and...
"Gum-Gum BAZOOKA!"
Luffy delivered his most powerful blow, and the fact that the Bear King was on fire didn't matter—he flew straight towards Bill, who immediately employed his technique:
"Giant AXE!"
A powerful kick sent the Bear King back down, and the whole castle shook once more.
In the throne room, Bill heard the sound of breaking weapons and a scream—Sasha had destroyed the green-haired swordsman's swords, and Rans had finally defeated the barefooted blond.
"Zoro! Sanji!" shouted Luffy, extending his arms towards them and pulling them to the terrace.
The past few hours had been challenging, Bill thought, but looking at the swordsman without swords and the blond who could barely stand, he knew these pirates were almost out of strength.
When Sasha and Rans appeared at his sides, Bill felt confident, seeing that they were still in good shape.
Before he could demand surrender again, all eyes turned upward as a shout came from the water tower at the top of the castle:
"Guys! I got them!"
As everyone looked up, a skinny guy with a big nose tossed down three katana and a pair of black boots.
The green-haired swordsman caught the swords and immediately tore off his jacket sleeves to use them as a belt. He took a sword in each hand and placed the third one in his mouth—now he was ready for battle.
The blond caught his black boots and put them on, lightly tapping his toes on the ground to ensure they fit properly.
It happened so quickly that Bill couldn't react in time, and seeing the confident expressions on the pirates' faces, he instantly regretted not acting faster.
Nevertheless, he decided it didn't matter and, seeing the three pirates preparing for battle, he stepped forward himself. Sasha and Rans went alongside him, and the three pirates moved towards them.
The terrace was large, but for six superhumans, it seemed too small, and within seconds, they almost reached the distance to start fighting.
But just as they prepared to attack, familiar voices — one female and one male — shouted, "STOP!" and "WAIT!"
All nine people instantly stopped and turned to see Ricky and Nami hurrying towards them.
The sight halted the fighters, as a stocky man and a young boy finished tying up Pin Joker, Boo Jack, and Wall One.
Only at that moment did Bill finally connect Nami's straw hat with Luffy, and although he felt betrayed looking at Ricky's face, he decided to hold off on conclusions.
Shouting to Ricky, Bill asked, "What's going on?" while the blond cook literally bounded towards Nami, shouting, "Nami-swan!"
Nami was the first to speak, bypassing the bouncing cook, and addressed Bill and Luffy:
"This is all a mistake! Luffy, these people aren't working with the Bear King; on the contrary, they were PROTECTING me from him!"
"Oh, really? "So, they're not like that mouse guy!" replied Luffy, as if he had uncovered a great mystery, hitting his right fist into his left palm.
