I took in a deep breath in an attempt to prepare myself for what I was about to face.
"You can do this." I hyped myself as I opened the door and walked out, My car was parked at the other side of the street that faced her house so I had to cross the residential road before I got to her house. As I set foot on her pavement I felt a cold shiver shoot through my body but I kept advancing, I climbed the three small steps that made a small staircase before the balcony and stood in front of the slim wooden door.
The last time I was here I had Kendra break us in but looking back now I knew how stupid that action was, why the fuck did I break into her house, and honestly, what did I expect. This time was gonna be different though, I pressed the doorbell and shifted from the peephole cause I honestly doubted she'd even entertain the idea of opening the door if she saw me standing at the other side.
