Location: Asgard
Thor arrived at Asgard after being consumed by the rainbow bridge bifrost.
He arrived in the bifrost chamber just like he did in the main MCU timeline except unlike the main timeline where skurge unlocked the bifrost bridge it was sif who did it in this fanfiction.
Sif? Thor questioned. Where is heimdal?
Alfather Odin deemed him a traitor, accused him for neglecting the duty towards bifrost bridge. Sif answered.
But heimdal never left the bifrost chamber without telling, so why would he be unworthy of its duties in the all father's eyes ? Thor questioned
No one knows for sure. He left hofund, his sword behind. He did tell me that all father has been acting weird, as if he is not being himself for the past 4 years. Ever since Loki died in swaterfheim.
Sif tried to explain.
Thor do something about it, talk to Odin and ask him regarding his decision.
Alright Thor responded as he began to spin his hammer and take flight.
Flying through the golden city bult upon his homeworld, Thor made his way.
Landing on a platform, thor saw an enormous Loki statue. What the hell is all that? Thor wondered as he began to suspect of something off about the place.
He saw a Play was being performed. A play reflecting the events of Thor the dark world.
The play goes on as it did in the original timeline after which Odin who was watching the play with a crowd gives it a round of applause.
Father. Thor calls out to Odin who reacts with unusual nervousness as he says damn it under his breath. My son Thor has returned home. Greetings son. Does anyone know what is this? Thor asked as he showed surtur's crown he was holding.
Oh surtur's skull, quet a deadly weapon it is. Odin responded to hide his nervousness.
Put it in the treasure vault so it won't be able to use burn anything. Thank you my son. Odin praised as he pretended to not be hiding anything. So, your in a hurry to return to midgard? Odin asked as if it was something urgent. No just been bothered by these nightmares I have been having lately, Asgard burning down to ashes Thor responded as he began to grow suspicious. Oh that's just a stupid nightmare, signs of a overacting imagination .
Possibly... but then I decide to go out there and investigate. And what do I find, but the Nine Realmscompletely in chaos. Enemies of
Asgard assembling, plotting our demise, all while you, Odin, the protector of those Nine Realms, are sitting here in your bathrobe,
eating grapes.
Well, it is best to respect our
neighbors' freedom Odin said Of course, the freedom to be massacred.ODIN said Yes, besides, I have been rather busy myself.THOR Said
Watching theatre.ODIN said.Board meetings, and security council meetings...THOR
Said
You really going to make me do it? ODIN asked Do what?.
Thor threw his hammer forward, know the hammer will come back to me no matter what, smashing everything in its way without you being any exception. Thor said as he got behind Odin.
That is madness, you could be sentenced to death Odin responded.
Then I would like to meet you in hell brother responded Thor as he summoned mjolnir but
Odin dodged the hammer revealing himself to be Loki posing as Odin in his place
Thor questioned Loki of Odin's whereabouts
But Loki argued as he felt it didn't matter as Thor had all the freedom of exploring the universe freely without restriction .
I will not say again, where is father?!
Ok!! Alright ! I'll tell you everything you need to know! Loki said in panic, feeling defenceless against Thor's mjolnir .
Scene break
Location New York City Street.
I can't believe you are alive Loki, thor said with full honesty as they both walk through the busy street of the city that Thor was able help the Avengers protect. Memories of the past battles and adventures came rushing to thor's mind. As thor and Loki made their way talking and catching up on each other's past Thor detected a familiar presence as he and his brother passed by a dark alley.
The presence was so familiar that even mjolnir reacted,as if trying to tell thor about something important.
In curiosity thor turned to the direction of the presence, catching a glimpse of a homeless one eyed old man.
The brothers instantly recognised him to be none other than Odin himself who was wearing a red hoodie.
Father? Thor called out loud.
The stranger ignored and continued to focus on the dustbin looking for food and other basic necessities.
What did you do to him? Thor asked his brother to which Loki replied, I stripped away a few memories of Asgard and disguised his presence and identity.
Father!! Thor called out loud again catching the old timer's attention as he and his brother Loki rushed to help their dad in order to take him home.
No! Get lost I found it first Odin resisted refering to the bag of leftover food he had grabbed.
But Thor reached out. It is be thor.
Oh yes my son Thor. Odin responded as he recognised his son followed by recognising his other son Loki to whom he apologized for the past treatments.
No we are the ones who failed you father. Thor responded with sincere accountability.
Come with me right now!! Odin instructed them in his usual authoritative all father voice.
Seek out the fire he ordered.
Thor asked as a result. What are you talking about? Thor asked offering help out of concern.
Ragnarok! Odin responded alerting his sons to be prepared for what is to come.
But I stopped it, i stopped Ragnarok by killing surtur! Thor responded.
Oh but Ragnarok has already started my son's, she will be here any second. Odin warned the both of them
Who will be here father? Thor and Loki asked at the same time.
The goddess of death, hela. Odin responded. Your elder sister, my first born.
What? Thor asked in utter shock and disbelief.
That's right, Odin responded. My life and presence will only hold her back as long as I am alive.
My time has come. After this both of you will have to be wise and take it from here. Odin ordered thor to Neil. Thor did as instructed without a second thought. Odin touch his son's head saying, seek out the fire! He muttered. Suddenly a portal of darkness opened. I have hereby surrendered my power along with my Odin force Odin said as he saw a strange woman stepping out of the portal.
You must be hela. Thor said. Let me handle it Odin said. You are evil hela. Odin said. Tell me father why did you condemn me to helheim. Hela asked.
You are brutal Odin said. Your heart is evil,it has always been twisted.
Still is hela replied as she stabbed Odin i.n the stomach.
No!! Thor screamed at his evil sister as he threw mjolnir at her. Taking the sudden attack lightly the goddess of death dodged the incoming attack.
Bring us back!!! Loki screamed in panic as Thor summoned his hammer. Hela followed the two brothers.
Thor tried to hit hela with the Hammer. Hela dodged again kicking Thor out of the bifrost bridge.
Being kicked out caused Thor to crash land on sakaar.
Surrounded by aliens Thor prepared for battle wielding his mighty hammer mjolnir.
Are you warriors or are you food? The aliens asked.
I was just passing by Thor answered.
Oh so you are food! The aliens cheered as they prepared to attack. But before they could react, thor summoned his thunder and lightning. Shocked by the lightning based attack the aliens were knocked away.
Thor was about to leave but noticed something stuck to his neck.
A neutralising chip it was. Before Thor could understand the chip shocked Thor. Resulting him to drop his hammer.
I found him grand master, the perfect warrior a woman said. That's right, i am bringing him to you so you better have my peyment. She added as she dragged the unconscious God of thunder along the way leaving behind his hammer mjolnir.
What are her plans? What is going to happen? And most important, what awaits the God of thunder? Will be able to stop Ragnarok? will he defeat hela? And will the nine realms ever be the same? Find out by reading the next chapter.
