Li Yuanli's heart was utterly shattered.
A Starlight Level Five civilization, that level of existence was something he hadn't just failed to reach; it was a concept he'd never even dared to imagine. It lay impossibly far beyond anything he had anticipated.
At the same time, he was profoundly shocked by the sheer madness of Qin Yi's origin. Starting from a Starlight Level Two civilization? That was a fundamentally unbelievable feat for a newly-risen King.
A King just beginning to explore the All Heavens Worlds was like an infant taking its first steps, ignorant of the cosmos, knowing almost nothing of the vast and deadly realities beyond. Such rulers were taught to advance with extreme caution, testing every step before daring a leap.
But Qin Yi's actions now confirmed Li Yuanli's internal belief: this man was a complete lunatic.
Wasn't he? Only a madman would attempt to sprint before even learning to walk.
A powerful urge to flee Qin Yi's service surged in his heart. But after standing frozen for a moment, he violently shook his head and retreated into the sanctuary of his own King's World.
"I must increase my strength... That madman's command is absolute. I have no choice but to grow stronger as quickly as possible, to improve my chances of survival!"
Time passed swiftly.
In the blink of an eye, seven days had gone by, and on this day, the New World erupted in chaos. The entire world was shaken and utterly terrified.
"Whitebeard! The Whitebeard Pirates are heading straight for the Land of Wano!"
"Heavens! Ying Zheng already defeated him! Could it be that even this Yonkō, who stood at the summit of the seas... is going to bow before that man?"
"There's no one left who can stop that ambitious monster from ruling the world!"
People trembled with a mixture of fear and awe. The name Qin's Nation now carried a spine-chilling finality.
The Moby Dick slowly approached the shore under countless stunned gazes.
From the deck, an old figure slowly rose. Step by step, he walked to the bow, then disembarked, setting his feet upon the harbor of the Land of Wano.
Whitebeard's eyes were filled with a profound sense of emotion as he looked at the rebuilding port.
He hadn't expected to still be alive.
Those final moments of battle had brought him face to face with death itself. He had seen the edge of the abyss, knowing clearly that one more breath, one more blow, and he would have crossed over.
"I lost. But since I've lived... I must fulfill my promise."
With a heavy sigh, Whitebeard looked ahead.
There was a faint smile in his eyes now, no resentment, no rage. Only calm acceptance. He was a man who had seen life and death, who had lived long enough to look upon both with serenity.
Inside the grand palace of the Land of Wano, Qin Yi sat upon the throne. When he saw the familiar, towering figure step through the great doors, a genuine smile formed on his face.
"Whitebeard, you kept your word." His voice resonated through the hall.
"I gave my word. Naturally, I came."
Whitebeard strode to the center of the grand hall, stopping just a few meters from Qin Yi, his towering presence still powerful.
"However, after that battle, my body is weakened. My strength has declined significantly. I fear I can no longer be of much use to you. I may disappoint you." He spoke with honest resignation.
"It doesn't matter," Qin Yi replied with a light, dismissive smile. "What I need isn't your strength."
He meant it. What he admired about Whitebeard was not merely his power, but his spirit, the grandeur and indomitable courage of a true man. This was a genuine hero, a being whose very presence carried immense charisma. Having such a man under his banner filled Qin Yi with a deep, conquering satisfaction.
"Very well," Whitebeard said. "Then take me to see this vast world you speak of."
"I'm quite interested. And if it's truly as you've described..."
He paused. A powerful, youthful gleam flashed in his eyes.
"Then I... would like to live another five hundred years!"
Qin Yi's eyes narrowed, and then his lips curved into a wide, ecstatic grin. Laughter burst from his chest.
"That's no problem at all!"
"Five hundred years? That's too short! I believe you could live another thousand years if you wish!"
Their voices rang through the hall, booming, confident, and full of vigor. For a brief moment, the air between them was bright with mutual respect and ambition.
…
At the same time, somewhere else in the New World, upon an island scarred by war, A middle-aged man in a long robe, with strange red tribal markings across his face, studied a bounty poster with a grave expression.
"Qin's Nation... King of Qin Ying Zheng..." Dragon muttered softly, his tone heavy and solemn.
"To think that such a being would suddenly appear in this world..."
"Dragon, that man is terrifyingly powerful, even Whitebeard fell to him!"
"What's worse, his forces are immense. His armies are vast, his weapons and warships are endless, he has no shortage of military might. With such power, there's no one left in this world who can challenge him!"
"We absolutely cannot confront him right now!"
Behind him, several officers of the Revolutionary Army spoke with grave urgency.
"I know that," Dragon said calmly. "Ying Zheng right now is like a sword unsheathed, sharp, unstoppable, and anyone who tries to grasp the blade will be cut."
"His ambition is known to all. And compared to us... the ones suffering most right now are probably the World Government."
His eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke, his voice low but steady.
At those words, the Revolutionary commanders couldn't help but burst into satisfied laughter.
Indeed, their goal was to overthrow the World Government and build a new world. The World Government was their true enemy. But now, an unexpected monster had appeared out of nowhere and turned the world upside down. The enemy of their enemy was giving the World Government sleepless nights.
"I'd love to see the looks on those Five Elders' faces right about now!" The officers laughed heartily.
…
Three days later, after confirming that his forces had stabilized and that most of the New World was under his firm control, Qin Yi finally allowed himself a moment of internal satisfaction.
"Most of the Grand Line is already in my hands," he said softly to himself.
"The Four Seas can be entrusted to them, there shouldn't be any problems."
"It's time... to begin the King's Way, the fusion of civilizations!"
His gaze grew bright with fierce determination. Taking a single step forward, Qin Yi passed through the Realm Gate and returned to his King's World.
After his conquests and the rebuilding efforts during his time in the Pirate World, the King's World had regained much of its former prosperity. The people had begun to emerge from their sorrow, once again embracing hope.
The moment he returned to his realm, Qin Yi made his way to the underground chamber where Gandalf rested.
Blue ice shimmered with a soft, radiant light, transforming the place into a frozen sanctuary. There lay Gandalf, eyes closed, appearing to be in peaceful slumber.
"I will find a way to awaken you," Qin Yi said quietly, standing before the old wizard.
He stood vigil for a full day and night before finally speaking those words in a firm voice, then turned and left.
That same day, General Yang returned from the Three Kingdoms World, leading his victorious army. His face was full of excitement and triumph.
"Your Majesty, I bring great news!"
As soon as he entered the royal palace, General Yang's booming laughter echoed through the hall.
"Oh? Let's hear it," Qin Yi said with a faint smile.
"The Three Kingdoms World has been completely conquered! All the warlords, generals, and strategists, they've all submitted to Qin's Nation!" General Yang stood proudly, his voice ringing with confidence.
Qin Yi's eyes flickered. In the next instant, he felt an immense surge of King's Power flowing through the void, merging into his body.
"Well done, General Yang," Qin Yi said, smiling with profound satisfaction.
