I'm only human, and having to do all these duties is exhausting. My mornings and evenings are filled with lessons from Nana. My afternoons I spend working as Cameron's secretary—for both the actual company and the pack work.

I continue typing on the laptop, finish the last report, and shut it down. I close my eyes. My nose feels damp. I touch my finger to it and look.

I stand and search for him. I walk out of the cabin—the one I live in with Nana and Ronan. He sleeps in the tiny living room slash kitchen now, since I've taken over his room.
I miss my penthouse apartment. Seriously.
I step out into the yard, and the sun hits my face through the forest branches. I walk toward the sound of constant construction. White Stone is changing from the tiny village town it once was four months ago.
