Frank became a bit wary noticing Michael was taking long to arrive. He had put in a tracker inside his car, thereby taking no time for him to find his location. On reaching there, he caught sight of a senseless Michael on the road and four people surrounding him. They kicked him even in his unconscious state.
Frank saw red with the way his boss was getting treated. His car swayed sideways before coming to a stop. Pulling out a rifle, he killed each one of them in a jiffy. Their bodies fell with a thud over the ground.
"Mi-Michael!" he shouted his name, reaching to him. A look of horror marred his face when he witnessed the amount of blood he had lost, painting the ground beneath crimson. He was still losing blood.
"I'm gonna save you, brother… Don't you dare die!" Putting him at the rear seat, fastening a seat belt, the engine red-lined as the car soon reached triple-digit speeds. Frank kept mumbling reassuring words, not even sure if the poor man was able to hear at all.
