"You did this? You betrayed me!"
Even someone as dense as Obito would have realized what was happening by now, not to mention he was an extremely perceptive person. The only reason he hadn't noticed sooner was that his mind had been clouded by the God Tree's manipulations.

Obito struggled desperately, but the consciousness awakening within him was doing so far faster than he could have imagined. All that remained was the final sliver of memory in his soul: a girl standing in the sunlight, smiling at him. What was her name? He couldn't quite remember...
Gekko Hayate watched this scene in horror.

Looking at Kakashi and Sasuke, who were already hanging from the tree, he drew his sword and glanced around. It can't be, right? Am I the only one left in this world?
He let out a cry, gripped his sword with both hands, and charged toward the fleshy sphere that was once Obito at a speed far exceeding his usual level.
Zetsu sneered. "Insignificant fry. Get lost. It's not your turn yet."
A black pillar of light shot out, striking Gekko Hayate squarely in the chest. He felt as if he'd been hit by a battering ram. The immense force sent him flying over ten meters, crashing through three large trees.
Zetsu gave him a cold glance and paid the insignificant fry no more mind.
Obito had perfectly fulfilled his mission as a tool. In his final moments, his body was completely enveloped from the inside out by the surging chakra and quickly vanished. The red Rinne Sharingan glanced around expressively before it, too, was submerged by the chakra. As the balloon-like body gradually deflated and slowly returned to its original form, the first thing to be revealed was that same Rinne Sharingan. The eye hadn't changed, but its owner was now someone else.
With two horns on her head and a delicate face, clad in an ancient, moon-colored robe adorned with a black magatama pattern, Kaguya Otsutsuki had used the Rinne Sharingan to revive once more within Obito's body.
Her skin, seemingly untouched by the sun for ages, had a deep-seated pallor that inspired a strange pity. Most striking of all was her bright, silky white hair, which flowed all the way to the ground.
The crimson Rinne Sharingan opened first. Her consciousness paused for a few seconds, receiving a massive amount of information from Zetsu, before she finally opened her other eyes.
Having absorbed most of the world's chakra, she had now returned to her form as the progenitor of chakra. She floated in mid-air, as if she were the sole ruler of this world.
"You! Who are you?! What is your connection to Obito Uchiha?" Gekko Hayate demanded, pointing his katana at Kaguya Otsutsuki.
His question was more bluster than bravery. It wasn't that he was a coward, but the difference in their level of existence was absolute. That he could even muster the courage to say those words was only thanks to the power of the Otsutsuki within him.
Who is this? Kaguya couldn't find Gekko Hayate's name in the information Zetsu had given her. Just as she was about to ask, she unexpectedly "saw" the Otsutsuki Urashiki hidden inside him.
Otsutsuki Urashiki: "..."
If I don't make a sound, you can't see me!
Kaguya frowned slightly, saying with a hint of anger, "Urashiki's host? Have you conspired with my sons as well?"

Kaguya tilted up her elegant face, glancing at the meteor with her Byakugan. She then raised her right hand and struck out toward the sky. From a kilometer away, the meteor was instantly shattered. With a wave of her sleeve, the fragments vanished without a trace.
Zetsu, in the form of a black mass, emerged from her sleeve and looked into the distance with a cryptic smile.
Kaguya followed his gaze.
Uchiha Madara, dressed in a deep blue kimono bearing the Flame Uchiwa crest and a light purple sash tied at his waist, stood ramrod straight in front of Gekko Hayate.
He had a faint impression of this Konoha ninja who didn't even flinch when his ribs were broken, as if he didn't know pain. Now, discovering that the man could actually resist the Infinite Tsukuyomi left him utterly shocked. What level of willpower is needed to resist the Infinite Tsukuyomi? What an incredible tough guy!
As an old-school man from the Warring States period, he greatly admired shinobi like Gekko Hayate.

"Konoha ninja, fall back. This is not a battle you can participate in." Even though Madara admired Gekko Hayate, his tone was extremely curt.
