As the ground cracked in several pieces, everyone was surprised. Especially Hiruzen and 'Kazekage'.
'That's like Tsunade!'
They both easily recognised the move.
Gentle Fist mainly relies on speed of arms and hands, flexibility, and releasing chakra after hitting the opponent.
But Tsunade's style taijutsu relies on very strong body, brute strength of arms and hands, and releasing far more chakra than Gentle Fist at the same time of impact.
With her chakra control, Naomi first thought that it was a piece of cake. And she just branded Hyuga clan as stupid to not be able to use this taijutsu which fits them as they can easily get the timing and chakra control right with Byakugan.
But, a 'bad habit' like Gentle Fist is hard to give up, especially since its a taijutsu.
It took her years of training, plus one and a half year of Guy-sensei's special training to get her body to the required condition for pulling off this move.
She cannot freely switch from Gentle Fist to the 'Hard Fist'. But as long as she is consciously thinking about which taijutsu to use, she can use whichever style suits her the best.
Taijutsu mainly relies on ingrained instincts afterall. Unless you have Sharingan and can see the opponent's next move.
She shook away those thoughts and stared at Naruto, who has lost his footing and was scared shitless.
She then hastily performed some handsigns, and lightning erupted in her hands.
In the stands, Asuma and Kurenai were surprised. Hiruzen and 'Kazekage' too.
"That's-"
Guy grinned.
"Yes! That's Chidori! Naomi is a Copy Ninja!"
As the lightning stabilized, she started running towards Naruto by easily jumping on the uneven destroyed ground.
Chidori doesn't necessarily requires Sharingan. Fourth Hokage will be able to do it on his own by relying on his reaction timing to easily react to any threat.
And though Byakugan doesn't have the dynamic vision that Sharingan provides, it allows to see everything in 359° sphere, even below the ground. Though processing all of it at once causes a lot of strain.
Naruto made a lot of Shadow Clones, and Naomi suddenly stopped, transferring all her momentum into Chidori. It went forward in all directions like a tsunami of lightning.
All of Naruto's Shadow Clones puffed away, and the real Naruto got paralyzed.
And then, a Shadow Clone of Naomi who was hidden beneath the ground, grabbed his legs and pulled him inside the ground, burrying him.
The Shadow Clone came out, and puffed away while being close to Naomi, returning some of her chakra back into her.
"Winner is-"
Just as the proctor was about to announce Naomi as the winner, Naruto jumped out of the ground, enveloped in Kurama's chakra.
Before he could say anything though, she punched him in the face using Hard Fist, and he went flying away, out of the stadium.
She could have easily won the fight by just being a brute like Tsunade.
But it was about to send a message.
She turned to the crowd, and raised her hand.
They cheered.
"Fuck Hyuga Clan!"
She shouted.
The hyped up crowd repeated.
"Fuck Hyuga Clan!"
She then glanced at Hiashi and his two daughters. Hinata had bandages over her head because of the injury she had given her last month. It was just a cheap immitation of what Caged Bird Seal has done to her.
'Oh... I got carried away. I don't have much chakra left.'
There is going to be an Invasion soon.
And her target is Tayuya.
She shrugged and slowly walked back to her team, dragging it on to recover. Well, she has a soldier pill with her as well.
"Naomi-chan, you showed great Power of Youth!"
Lee gave me a smile and thumbs up.
"Don't worry about the Hyuga clan! I will make arrangements so that you don't have to live inside the clan!"
Guy-sensei also gave me a smile and thumbs up.
I filtered out what the fodder of my team was saying. Though he was the Rookie of the Year in the academy, he is clearly the dead-weight now.
Plus, I seriously feel creeped out by a 13 year old trying to hit on me.
Anyway, the match ended. And after some more matches, which included the incredibly long Temari vs Shikamaru match, just as the proctor was about to disqualify Sasuke for being late, Kakashi and Sasuke arrived in the stadium.
Guy-sensei shouted at Kakashi.
"Kakashi! You missed an important match!"
Oh. Guy-sensei wants to gloat about me using a Chidori. Well, I can't use it as good as even Sasuke right now, who just spent about a month to learn it.
I couldn't maintain its piercing shape, so I had to turn it into 'Chidori Tsunami' which was severely limited due to my chakra amount and only caused Naruto paralysis.
Still, I have already learnt Hard Fist and Rasengan aside from Gentle Fist. So I am not really frustrated about my progress.
Sasuke vs Gaara went more or less the same, aside from the destroyed ground causing Sasuke some difficulty.
And then, the feathers started dropping, and the invasion started.
I have recovered to about 40% of my chakra. It will be enough to defeat Gaara if I just rely on Hard Fist.
Well, I will let Naruto take the spotlight and Talk-no-jutsu Gaara.
As I have broken out of Genjutsu, Hiashi came to me.
"Naomi, protect Hinata-"
"Fuck off!"
