Ryusei sighed as she walked through the school gates, still feeling groggy from her morning with Rika. The events from earlier made her shiver. 'Am I really that pathetic to just let her- never mind... Let's just get through the day.'
As she made her way toward the school building, murmurs and whispers caught her attention.
"No way... is that Rias Gremory walking with Issei?"
"What the hell? How did that pervert get close to her?!"
"She's gonna catch something hanging around him!"
Ryusei glanced over and, sure enough, Issei was walking beside Rias Gremory, the most popular girl in school. She could practically feel the burning jealousy from the male students, while the girls whispered amongst themselves, visibly disgusted.
"Ryusei," Rias greeted smoothly, standing before her with an air of confidence. "I'd like to have a talk with you and Issei later."
Ryusei raised an eyebrow, but before she could ask why, Rias continued, "I'll have someone bring you both to the Occult Research Club during class."
"...Alright," Ryusei finally responded.
Rias walks away leaving Issei and Ryusei. Issei the wraps and arm around Ryusei, "So... You gonna go out with Aika? Ooh! Maybe once I woo Rias we can have a double da-"
Before Issei could finish, Ryusei elbowed him in the ribs, making him double over in pain.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, idiot," Ryusei muttered, shaking her head.
Issei groaned, rubbing his side. "Damn, you're violent... but seriously, are you gonna go out with Aika? She's pretty bold, slipping you her number and kissing you like that."
Ryusei sighed. "I haven't decided yet."
Issei wiggled his eyebrows. "So there's a chance?"
"Shut up," Ryusei deadpanned, pushing his face away.
Issei chuckled but backed off, still grinning. "Man, first Aika, and now Rias personally calling you in for a meeting? You've been in this school for how long, and you're already outdoing me? Life's unfair..."
Ryusei rolled her eyes. "Maybe if you focused on more than just boobs, your life wouldn't be so 'unfair.'"
Issei crossed his arms. "Blasphemy. Boobs are life."
Ryusei just sighed, already regretting entertaining this conversation, and started heading to class. Issei followed, still talking about his 'future harem plans,' while Ryusei mentally prepared herself.
'Better than staying home alone with Rika...'
The classroom door slid open, drawing the attention of several students. A young man with neatly styled blonde hair and calm gray eyes stepped inside.
"Sorry to interrupt, I'm here for Hyoudou Issei and Okkotsu Ryusei."
"You've got to be kidding me..." Issei grumbles. "The pretty boy of all people."
Ryusei sighed and leaned back in her seat, watching as Issei slumped in frustration.
Kiba gave them both a polite smile. "Gremory-senpai is waiting for you at the Occult Research Club. Please, follow me."
Issei groaned dramatically. "Man, this is so unfair! First, Rias notices me, and now I gotta deal with you too!"
Kiba merely smiled, ignoring the comment. "Let's go."
Ryusei stood up, stretching slightly before glancing at Issei. "Just suck it up and move."
As they followed Kiba out of the classroom, students whispered among themselves, some jealous, others just curious.
Meanwhile, Issei leaned over to whisper, "What do you think this is about?"
Ryusei shrugged. "No idea." She lied.
'I don't remember being around Rias at all for her to want to talk with me... Their familiars must've caught me doing something if that's the case then.'
As they walked toward the old school building, Ryusei casually activated [Analysis] on Kiba.

As they stepped inside the old school building, Ryusei immediately glanced around the room. Koneko sat on one of the two couches, silent. Meanwhile, the faint sound of running water from a shower could be heard in the background.
Before Ryusei could process anything further, Akeno Himejima entered the room, carrying a tray of tea.
"Welcome~" Akeno said offering a warm, playful smile as she set the tray down on the table between the couches. "Please, make yourselves comfortable."
Issei practically drooled at Akeno making Koneko look at him in disgust. "Pervert."
"H-hey! You don't have to blurt it out!"
"Is she seriously in the shower right now?" Ryusei sat down with an annoyed expression.
Before Kiba could respond, the sound of the shower shutting off made the room silent. Then, footsteps approached, and soon, Rias Gremory entered, drying her crimson hair with a towel.
"Good, you're both here," She took a seat next to Akeno and crossed her legs. "We have much to discuss."
"Do you believe in the supernatural?"
