Anyone familiar with the history of West University knows that this is not only Pennsylvania's largest city but was also once the capital of West University. The world-renowned Declaration of Independence was signed here.
However, due to various political and strategic considerations, after being the capital for more than ten years, its political centrality was replaced by Washington D.C.
Nevertheless, Philadelphia still enjoyed a period of glory. It was once one of the most important industrial cities in West University.
The rise of the textile and machinery manufacturing industries made Philadelphia the most important economic engine in the eastern part of West University.
It also nurtured the University of Pennsylvania, a world-famous institution.
Unfortunately, entering the new century, under the influence of progressive thought, this once great city eventually declined.
