Elsewhere, in the Avandor Imperial capital, a young man with golden hair sat on the bed in his room in the imperial palace. Although he hadn't yet chosen a sponsor, Cedric was still allowed to occupy a guest manor in the palace. He sighed deeply, examining the sword in his lap.
Beside him, Astra floated calmly, its golden light shining faintly. "You seem restless, Ced. Is something bothering you?"
Cedric snorted briefly, closed his eyes, and then placed the sword that was originally on his lap beside him, "Hey, Astra. Don't you feel like something was missing from the celebratory feast?" He opened his eyes again, "It felt like everything went smoothly, as if nothing happened."
Astra circled Cedric's head, its golden light flickering as if indicating it was thinking.
"Hmm, you're right. This welcoming feast was calmer than in the past." It said, its voice remaining flat, but with a hint of curiosity.
