Daniel went to the garage and drove to the Western Hill Villa neighborhood. When he arrived, he discovered Chantelle wasn't there.
An hour earlier, Chantelle had dropped Stephanie off at the Western Hill Villa. She planned to go to Jacob's place. When Kane and Railer heard she was going there, they wanted to go along. They hadn't seen him since he returned from Carcosa.
She couldn't win against them, so she brought all three of them along. On the road, she was very careful to avoid any accidents.
Fortunately, they arrived at Jacob's neighborhood safely.
Since working under Chantelle, Jacob had become more cheerful. He was no longer the boy who hid in his room. He had a group of friends now and was more energetic.
"Wow, since when did you become a handsome man?" Kane exaggeratedly looked at Jacob. He remembered that when they first met, Jacob had long hair and a beard. He looked messy and unkempt.
Jacob scratched his head and replied shyly, "All thanks to Ms. Chantelle."
