Looking at the Light Knight Captain returning in a fury, Archbishop Charles felt a bit afraid.
Could it be that he saw those gold and silver jewels and is ready to argue with me about doctrine and morality?
However, what he didn't expect was that the Knight Captain came to him and kneeled on one knee.
"Archbishop Sir, I have failed in my duties, please punish me!"
"Punish? Failed in your duties?"
Archbishop Charles was a bit confused, especially seeing the submissive Knight Captain, he was very surprised.
The Light Knights are all rigid adherents to the rules, and Charles knew very well that he and the other party were not on the same page.
He also knew that the other party didn't look favorably upon him.
The evidence was that, although the Light Knights served as his guards to protect his safety,
they were unwilling to engage in any interaction with him or his followers outside of their duties.
Even the camp was separated by temporary fences that the knights disdained.
