He couldn't speak for a while. Instead, his eyes remained fixed on Aristia as his thoughts raced.
It hadn't crossed his mind to bring any gifts from the academy. Who knew Princess Aristia actually expected something from him.
His view of Aristia was blocked by Ivan and Liam who had been standing beside Aristia before they arrived.
They had just moved subconsciously before even thinking. The only thing in their minds had been to block Ian's gaze on Aristia. Why was he standing there dumbly and staring at her like he had been struck?
"Ahem?" Ivan cleared his throat to divert his attention.
But Ian still looked at Aristia and said. "I-I will give you a gift soon." He said, looking and sounding a bit flustered before he regained his bearings.
Aristia was confused. [I didn't ask for a gift, did I?]
