Adam received the next charge of Vorthax with his full power.
The beast was coming much stronger than in the previous fight, though, wounded and enraged as it was; all three of its heads were trying to end the duel, with the horned battering ram leading the charge. The predator's jaws snapped at anything that dared to get near them, while its sensor pits turned to track the beams of creation light Adam used to throw up a layered defense. Adam turned the reinforced layer so that it took the first powerful blow to the side and drove a spear of creation light into the broken part of the monster's torso, forcing it to spill more ichor from the damaged plates. Vorthax staggered but did not slow down.
The next exchange saw the combatants trading blows in a frenzy.
