Adam stumbled back onto the high balcony where blood already dried on his face and chest. The heavy seals, which Adam laid on the fracture, held for now. Still, the tremors echoed on the edges of the Celestial Realm. Adam planted his hand on the balcony's banister and let the wave of creation flow through his body, mending the worst of the damage. His ribs were whole, and the deep cut on his side healed. The dull headache that the high-level creation caused remained.
Joshua was the first to reach him. "The barriers are holding. Nothing is getting through the inner grounds. Jordan is holding the second line." He paused and exchanged a brief glance with Adam. "They will try again once we finish the repairs."
Adam gave a short nod. "Hold them there. They will come again, harder this time."
