Liana's POV
My heart thundered in my throat, and for the first time in a while, I honestly thought I was going to shit myself. Kieran on the other hand, didn't seem too bothered, and I wouldn't say I was surprised. He'd always liked living on the wild side of life.
I snuck Kieran a glance, and if the look in his eyes meant anything, it was the fact that he wanted to keep going. I shook my head at him, and fortunately, that was all it took to get him to let me go, reluctantly.
"Who's there?" Whoever it was called out again, and I found myself pressing deeper into the shadows. I had no idea who it was, but the last thing I wanted was to realize it was someone I'd seen around, or worse, someone I knew. "Come out, now."
And we did. Well, just Kieran actually.
"Its me." Kieran stepped into the light, and obviously in their line of vision. "Is there a problem?"
