Chapter 25 - ch-25

For the first time, Tom felt that he could not keep up with Andros's thinking.

Isn't the matter over? Why does it feel like this righteous man has an even worse temper than him, and he wants to retaliate even if he hasn't suffered any loss.

Looking at Tom's surprised expression, Andros laughed.

"Don't get me wrong, Tom. I'm not a petty person."

"It's just that Snape has something I need. No, to be more precise, you need."

"I need it?" Tom paused, then immediately understood. "You mean the potion ingredients?"

"That's right."

Andros admitted his goal and asked again, "Tom, do you know how wizards fought in my time?"

Tom was puzzled by the question: "How else can we fight? Isn't it just using magic? If we are more insidious, we can use poison, assassination, sneak attack, ambush, or gang fight."

Andros' eyelids twitched. "Most of what you said is... true, but don't say it again next time."

He couldn't deny it, because in order to win and survive, the means that wizards of that era could use were more despicable than Tom could imagine.

Andros straightened his face and got back to the point, "Magic is indeed a wizard's powerful weapon, but other than that..."

Andros made a very muscular move: "The power of the flesh cannot be ignored!"

"As the saying goes...big muscles, passionate fighting!"

"Whether it's dodging a spell or attacking faster than the opponent, all of these require the support of the body. In fact... in close combat, fists are much more useful than casting spells!"

Andros showed a proud look on his face. "There were quite a few wizards who were beaten to death by my iron fists.

There were even some of them who you called great men of their generation.

They were all stupid and could only cast spells at a distance.

They lost their composure when I got close to them.

They were typical useless academic wizards."

"As for how to strengthen your body, I have a complete set of training methods and matching potions. I originally planned to teach you after you had some money, but after reading Snape's collection, I think the plan can be advanced."

"It turns out that my poverty limits my progress..."

Tom muttered to himself, he only knew that the poor were good at literature and the rich were good at martial arts, but he didn't expect that learning magic would cost him money.

"What materials are needed?" Tom asked again.

Andros told the recipes of the potions. There were more than ten kinds of them, which were definitely high-end potions. Except for a few common herbs that were relatively cheap, the others were more expensive than the others.

Wayne had seen the heart of a fire dragon in the potion shop last time. It cost eight Galleons per ounce and it was not fresh. Dragon's blood grass cost fifteen Galleons per plant and he needed eight plants in total.

The most terrifying thing... is the eyeball of the sphinx's claw.

This thing is even rarer than a fire dragon and is an absolute protected animal.

It is impossible for a potion shop to sell this thing.

It may be available in Knockturn Alley, but it is hard to come by and there is no accurate standard for the price.

And it just so happens... most of these things can be found in Snape's collection.

"Done."

Tom agreed with Andros' idea immediately, damn Snape.

If students want to make progress, it is reasonable for teachers to provide some sponsorship and support, right?

"I just observed that Snape seems to be very confident in himself. There is no trace of magic on the door lock, and there are no protective measures for the potion materials. All he needs to do is find an opportunity to sneak in."

Tom was a cautious person. He opened the study space before entering Snape's office. Once Snape showed signs of taking action, he immediately used the "Physical Action" function to release Andros. Therefore, Andros could see the status of Snape's office very clearly.

"Let me think of a way." Tom pondered.

It's easy to buy for free, but you can't underestimate Snape and Dumbledore. After all, this castle is their territory, so it's better to plan carefully.

Just as he was about to discuss with Andros about learning some concealment magic, the door of the dormitory was pushed open.

The three Shabinis were overjoyed to see that the room was empty.

"Riddle's not here!"

"He must have been punished by Professor Snape. He is in detention now."

"Nonsense!" Rozier shouted, "Why is he being put in solitary confinement? Maybe he should be expelled?"

"That's right." Nott nodded repeatedly, "You're so lawless on your first day, you deserve to be fired."

After saying that, the three of them burst into laughter.

Tom also smiled and his consciousness exited the study space.

The three people who were laughing wildly just now suddenly floated up uncontrollably, with their hands behind their backs as if their hands were tied up by invisible ropes. Then their knees softened, and their bodies fell down again, kneeling heavily on the ground.

The disillusionment spell is lifted.

Zabini, Rosier, and Nott looked at the boy who suddenly appeared with horror.

Oh shit!

Why is he here!

Didn't Snape already call Tom over? Just let him go like that?!

Tom ignored the three people's shock. He was savoring the feeling of casting the spell just now.

Strong will and surging emotions.

Although he used a magic wand, he did not recite any spells and successfully released a silent spell with the same precision as when he used a magic wand.

Tom had a new understanding of what Andros said about will and emotion.

This is a contradictory state, and it is difficult to grasp the right balance. If you use too much force, your emotions will get out of control, and if you restrain the impulse, the magic will not be released.

Tom waved his wand, and the three kneeling people were hit by a huge force, rolling and hitting the wall, but the culprit shook his head.

This time he failed, as he had intended to hang the man on the wall.

Tom stood up and walked towards the three people step by step.

Zabini's eyes widened in horror, and he shook his head frantically, but he had already retired and could retreat: "You, don't come over here!"

They all saw that Tom's wand had turned into a whip again.

"Didn't we agree on this yesterday?" Tom tilted his head, "You have the right to revenge, but you also have to accept the price of failure."

"Telling the teacher is indeed a good idea."

The young man tutted his mouth, "It's a pity that Professor Snape thought it was just a minor friction and had no intention of punishing me."

The sky collapsed in the hearts of the three people.

Professor Snape looked so angry this morning, how come it has become a minor friction now?

Nott begged for mercy with a sad face: "Riddle, I know I was wrong, can you please stop hitting me?"

"Of course not." Tom shook his head, "None of you three can escape today."

"Come on, everyone will get a guaranteed ten-draw combo."
