"Do you realize what you have done Red?!" Redence looked at the injured knight who needs healing and she act out without the supervision of the highest healer.
"If I waited for you to come, The injured knight will die eventually." Red said coldly.
"How dare you talk back to the highest priest!" The highest priest Bless slapped Red hard in the face causing her to fall down on the ground.
The other healer are smirking and talking hard about how shameless Redence is for acting all mighty in front of one of the highest priest.
"As a normal healer you should know your place when it comes to emergencies like this." Bless said as Redence smirked.
Redence saw the knight near the lake where they usually wash their clothes.
She rushed to the Highest priest office and Bless was there drinking her tea being served by the other healers who wants a badge to level up their position in the Healing Academy.
"Your Holiness, I saw an injured Knight in the lake who needs an immediate healing. He should get treated right away-" she was cut off by Bless as she glared at her.
"What about his badge?"
"Pardon?"
"Are you deaf? I'm asking about his badge..." She repeated.
"I saw two stars your Holiness we should go and-" Bless cut her off.
"A lowly knight doesn't deserve a highest priest healing." She said as Redence was stunned by what she said.
"But as a healer we are responsible to attend the wounded person and help those who are in need." Red said as Bless smirked.
"You can leave now." She said as the healers throw her out of Bless room.
By that Red decided to heal the Knight without any supervision.
"I asked for your help but you just disregard the situation after knowing that the injured person is just a lower rank Knight..." She said as the Highest Priest smirked.
"Are you saying that I'm not attending my duties as the Highest Priest?" she asked as Red stand up and face her up front.
'Hmm this young lady sure is promising, If she keep on provoking the highest priest it will be the end of her.' Baste said to himself as he blends to the crowd.
"No... I am here to accept all the punishment but I will never be sorry for saving that knights life. As a healer we should help the people in need and wants to survive. I just did my duty as a normal healer and I will take all the consequences your planning to give." She said.
"Your being arrogant for someone who's only a low rank healer huh..." Bless said as Red smiled. "Not at all I'm just doing what I think is right." Red said as the highest priest smirked.
"We'll then I will dismiss you scholarship here in the Academy." she said as Red clenched her fist and was about to talk when Baste interupts.
"I think it isn't right to dismiss this healer if the Knight is in good situation." Baste said as the High Priest recognized his aura. 'Why the hell is the Emperor's Imperial Dragon is here?!' Bless asked herself as Baste saw all her horrible actions that can dismiss her from being one of the Highest Priest.
"But acting without the supervision from the highest priest is-"
Baste smirked and didn't let her finish.
"Didn't she came to your room and ask for help yet she was disregarded?" Baste asked as Bless was speechless. The other healers was stunned by Baste's presence.
'This presence.... Is he the Emperor Veron?' Red asked herself as Baste smiled at her.
Miss Flora had a bad feeling after she noticed Baste's presence in the academy and saw the crowd in the garden.
'What the hell!' She screamed as she immediately teleported to where Baste is.
"B-Baste..." she murmured as Baste smiled at Miss Flora. "Talk to your Highest Priest and I'll take care of this healer." Baste said as he grabbed Redence.
When they arrive at the Academy's Clinic he saw that Red's face was still burning red.
"Your a healer right? Can't you heal yourself?" Baste asked as Red touched her face. "If the hit was made by a highest priest a normal healer cannot heal it." Redence said as she asked for ice.
"So if you get stab by a highest priest then you'll die?" he asked as Redence looked at Baste.
"No because murder is beyond the holiness, it is an immoral act. If a highest priest or any healer do such an immoral act they will lose their ability to heal." she said as she remembered her mother.
"Why did you save me back there Emperor Veron?" she asked that caught Baste's attention as he cleared his throat.
"I am not the Emperor. I am the Imperial Dragon Baste I guess you can call me your friend." He said as hearing that Baste came from the Celestial Castle her eyes sparkles.
"Baste, Do you know a Celestial Guard name Gabriel? How is he? Is he doing well in the Palace?" She asked as Baste knotted his eyebrows.
"Celestial Guard named Gabriel?" He asked as he looked at the Celestial Seal on Redence wrist.
'Gabriel... Is she talking to Emperor Gabriel Veron II? Why didn't she knows that the person she was talking to was Emperor Veron the whole time?' he asked himself as Redence smiled sadly.
"It's been almost a year since we saw each other and I heard about the war with Amphipteres. I'm worried but I'm sorry for asking such a-"
"I don't know if Gabriel is okay at all, I didn't get any information about the war my self." He said as Redence sigh.
"I just hope that he is safe." Red said as Baste smirked.
"You were lucky enough to escape the Palace by trying to lure our guard with your marriage offering." Baste said as Redence smiled.
"I didn't know that he would even agree with it. I just want to see my mom before she dies." she said as she explained everything to Baste.
'I can see that she is a promising healer.' Baste said as he look at the Knight's injury.
"A knight shouldn't be judge by their badge and standing since before they achieve a star they went into horrible training and survive the hell and become someone who would protect the city of dragons. I believe that your reasoning is something worth it in this academy." Baste said as Red smiled.
"I am okay with all the punishment they gave to me, Afterall I promise Gabriel that I will be the best healer and make him proud in my name and achievement but I guess things are different by now." She said as she knew that she just pissed one of the Highest Priest.
"Graduation is near..." Baste said as Red nodded. "Your Final judgement will happen sooner than you expected but I will do everything in my power to help you overcome the obstacles especially that you messed with the highest priest." Baste said as Redence shake her head.
"I don't want or need any help from the palace. Being help to get in here is already enough." Redence said as she smiled sadly.
'Hmm, she's some sort of an independent woman but can she really be independent if she knew about Gabriel's status in the Palace?' Baste can't help but think a lot.
"The knight that's been stabbed multiple times I think came from the war of Amphipteres." Red said.
"What? Why would you say that?" Baste asked.
"Look at this wounds, They might look like a sword slash but if you look closely on how the wound is made it was actually from the wings of Amphipteres." She said as Baste can't believe what she was saying.
'She's right, Amphipteres are dragons that have a snake body with wings so they don't usually have claws to defend themselves. Rather than that they use their wings to wound their enemy.' Baste said to himself as he looked at Red.
"I think this knight was traveling back here to give a message since we have the same handkerchief with a different mark." Red said as she point at the golden handkerchief that widens Baste's eyes.
"THE EMPEROR IS IN TROUBLE!" He said as he immediately run outside and vanished in midair.
Red was also confuse but she knew that what she did with this knight is something that the palace and Gabriel will be proud off.
"I forget to tell him about the other wound..." Red said as he looked at the side of the Knights injury.
A scratch that almost tear the inside apart that cause the Knight to loose his conscious.
Redence looked at the scar as it resembles the same scar that her father had when she was a child.
"Dad, What's that scar?" Red asked her father as she sat down on his legs.
"It's from a mighty beast of the sea, they are major manipulators and could lore you to your fantasies in exchange for your life." He explained.
"That's scary..." Redence said as her father smiled and pat her head. "I survived the beast because I didn't get to hear it's song." He said.
"What kind of beast is it Dad?" Red asked.
"It's the Siren's."
