Tilldoor also taught Emma about the three types of Agony, Physical, Mental, and finally Fated.
Physical Agonies affect your body in some way, kind of like Isabella slow speech, or at least that's what Emma thinks. No one shares there Agony, people could take advantage of each other if they did.
Mental Agonies affect your head, messing around with it, making you dumber or just not know anything about certain things, or things like Emma's Agony.
And finally Fated Agonys, the worst of them in Tilldoor's opinion, this Agony is nearly impossible to subdue, they mess with your mind, life, aspirations, goals, etc. One could only hope that there Agony was lighter than the other Fated's if they received one.
An entire day had already pass, Emma was walking around the outdoor market eyeing a few things, occasionally licking her lips for others.
"Focus" Alita, who walked beside Emma, recalled.
Right now Emma was doing the Mission that she promised to do in the contract she signed. All she had to do was patrol the outdoor market, looking for things that will distrub the peaceful trade that going on here.
Emma was kind of upset by this at first. She couldn't grow stronger by roaming around, but then she realized she could roam around and explore the place a little.
Alita had prevented her from doing it a bunch.
"Sigh, What am I suppose to even do, this place is as peaceful as it could be."
Hours went by, and nothing had happened, today was a very boring day for Emma.
Not completely so though, the day hasnt been done yet. The future is still a mystrey, anything could happen!
"Hey you guys!" An old shaken voice screeched at Emma and Alita.
Emma turned to see a tiny elderly women with white hair, green eyes. She was calling the two from a shabby wooden stand that had a bunch of weird stuff.
"Would you mind looking over my things?" The elderly women shouted once more, making sure the entire market heard her. "It's very valuable you know!"
Emma and Alita had walked over to the old women, Emma was merely eyeing her stuff, while Alita had looked towards the old lady with a gentle smile.
"Alita! I know you'll do this for me well. Hehehe."
"Yes, and we'll guard your stuff ma'am, Ms. Olga would want me to do right for the old. Plus its my job to look over this district." Alita responded in a calm tone, she waved her hands signaling that the old lady could leave now.
The old woman looked over to Emma who was looking at her stuff intensely, so much to the point that the old woman thought she was going to steal her stuff!
"Is she trustworthy though? That little girl looks like she wants to steal my goods!" The old lady whispered to Alita.
"It's fine." Alita whispered back. Emma was trying her best to make it seem like she wasn't listening, but that was impossible, there literal right next to her, how could she not hear the?
The old lady suddenly left her tiny shop to the two.
After a few minutes Emma had just stood there, bored out of her mind. She wasn't allowed to touch the old womens stuff because Alita said so.
"GO, Go!" A voice that was vaguely familiar to Emma shouted.
A giant cubicle snake with legs, had a multitude of scratches as it went by the two, so did a guy with antlers in there mouth, and another guy with an for a face.
Alita dashed towards the two, catching up to them quite fast.
"Those guys!" Emma thought to herself at the same time as Alita left, Emma quickly followed Alita, not as fast as her, but she definitely tried.
Alita stopped in front of the three, looking at them with a cold expression.
"Move! They're coming for us too! Those Shy House guys, you got to stop them!" the antler mouthed guy shouted, while the Eye faced fellow was signaling Emma to move to the side.
"Shy House?" Emma suddenly asked as she finally catched up to them, she had vaguely remembered them but had not known who they were for sure.
"Abnormalities and Shy House are rival gangs who usually go to war with each other over what ever it is they want, but now it seems more like a one sided hunt. These guys, normally they would have just retreated to where they are base is, not run for their lives." Alita responded. her words were like a drop of cold water on their already tiny flames of honor to the three.
The three of them all wanted to hate her, respond with something, say anything really, but she was right. They're pitiful fools, just like the people who they stole from, hunt for fun, or even murder for cash.
They remained silent, it's all they could do, it was all the three abnormal wanted to do.
"Save us! Please!" The antler mouthed guy said with tears starting to crawl down his face like a silly reminder of his despair, "Shy House, those guys murdered so many of us. They spared not a single soul in sight, isn't it your job to protect us citizens of district 5? Protect us from those Shy scum!"
The other two looked towards their comrade, they had seen him in a new light. That right they could still live! They must try!
Alita and Emma looked towards each other in confusion.
"Take me to where it happened." Alita said in a hesitant tone.
"Thank you!" the two shouted, while the third signaled thanks. Emma just stood there, was this what usually happened during missions?
"It's what Ms.Olga would have wanted, don't thank me." Alita said in a shaky tone, trying her best to calm herself.
"Ms. Olga, thank you so much!" All three thought to themselves.
"But she's not even here?" A voice similar to her own asked.
