Chapter 75 - First Mission

Rachel stood beside Gia outside the mansion driveway, dressed sharply in a fitted black suit, black gloves, hair tied in her combat ponytail. Gia wore a fitted cream blazer with gold accents — elegant, calm, unmistakably powerful.

A chauffeur opened the door.

As they entered the car, Gia smirked.

"First mission as Vice Hawk. How do you feel?"

Rachel didn't hesitate.

"Prepared. And ready to eliminate anyone who gets in the way of the objective."

Gia laughed softly. "Oh Rachel… you'll fit into this family wonderfully."

The car rolled into the familiar dealership lot — the very same place where:

Zumi was disrespected The staff mocked him Hina first revealed her terrifying nature

Only… things looked different now.

New employees. New decor. New staff uniforms.

The place had obviously undergone a massive management purge after Hina's "incident."

Gia and Rachel stepped inside.

Immediately, several of the male sales staff noticed them.

Gia: elegant, gorgeous, regal. Rachel: sharp, deadly, stoic beauty.

It didn't take long before trouble arrived.

A tall salesman swaggered over, blocking their path with an oily grin.

"Well hellooo, ladies. Shopping for a car? I can show you anything you want."

Gia ignored him completely.

Rachel simply stared — cold, silent, unreadable.

But the man kept going, leaning WAY too close.

"You two models? Sisters? Maybe girlfriends? I know a few VIP rooms upstairs if you want—"

Rachel's eyes narrowed a millimeter.

Warning. Ignored.

Then he reached out…

He tried to touch the lapel of Rachel's suit.

That was it.

Without changing expression:

Rachel grabbed his wrist → twisted it → pivoted → and used his own center of gravity to flip him over her shoulder.

He flew—

S L A M !

—right into the side of a brand-new Mercedes SUV.

The car dented. The alarm blared. The man curled on the floor groaning.

The entire showroom froze.

Rachel didn't blink.

"Touch me again," she said calmly, "and it won't be a car you land on."

The other employees snapped out of shock and rushed forward.

"You damaged the vehicle!" "You have to pay for that!" "Assault on an employee!" "This is a business, not a wrestling ring!"

Gia folded her arms, simply observing.

She was pissed, but she wanted to see how Rachel handled it.

Rachel stepped forward, voice icy, controlled.

"I was defending myself. If anyone should pay for that damage, it's this clown who thought he could put his hands on me."

The staff grew louder.

"You can't talk like that!" "You owe us!" "We'll call security!"

Rachel tilted her head, letting a sliver of pressure slide into her voice.

"Call whoever you like. But unless you want to join him on the hood of that SUV, step back."

They stepped back.

Every single one of them.

A door slammed open.

Out stormed the manager — the same one who once scolded his staff for disrespecting Zumi.

But now?

He froze.

His eyes widened.

"…Miss Gia?"

He straightened instantly like a soldier before a general.

He bowed so hard his glasses nearly flew off.

"W–welcome back! I apologize for whatever happened — please give me one moment."

He turned toward the staff.

Expression: murderously disappointed.

"You're all fired."

The room fell silent.

"But—sir—" "But the damage—" "They—"

"OUT."

He pointed to the exit.

Every single employee except one small figure in the back began shuffling away in shame.

The manager then pointed to the girl with glasses and pigtails — petite, cute, soft-looking, with giant round frames.

"You. Emma. Stay."

Emma squeaked. "O-okay!"

The manager then turned back to Gia and Rachel and bowed deeply.

"I am so sorry for the disrespect. Rest assured, this dealership is now at your full disposal. Emma will assist you with any purchase you require."

Gia finally relaxed, putting a hand on Rachel's arm.

"You handled that beautifully."

Rachel's lips curved — just barely, but enough to show satisfaction.

"Thank you."

Gia gestured to Emma.

"Rachel, go ahead and speak with her. We'll let her know what we need."

Emma hurried up, adjusting her glasses nervously.

"H–hello! I'm Emma! I'll help you with anything you need today!"

Rachel turned toward her with her calm, soldierly posture.

"Good. We're here to purchase a car."

Emma nodded vigorously.

"O-of course! Any specific preferences?"

Rachel glanced at Gia.

Gia nodded once.

"For teachers. Something professional. Reliable. Good safety rating. Black."

Emma smiled brightly.

"I have the perfect options!"

Rachel's eyes softened — the first hint of warmth since entering the dealership.

"Lead the way."

Emma, nervous but eager to impress, led Gia and Rachel across the showroom.

"This way, Miss Gia… Miss Rachel! We have several models that meet your needs!"

Rachel walked with military precision. Gia glided beside her with elegance.

Emma pointed first to a line of polished sedans.

Honda Accord (Black)

Emma tapped the hood proudly.

"Reliable, safe, very fuel-efficient! It's a favorite among teachers!"

Rachel inspected the interior:

Clean. Functional. Simple.

She gave a neutral nod. "Acceptable."

Emma hurried to the next.

Toyota Camry SE (Midnight Blue)

Emma opened the door, showing the surprisingly luxurious interior.

"Excellent durability and maintenance costs! Also great for long commutes!"

Gia hummed softly. "Comfortable… but maybe a bit too common."

Rachel agreed.

"Teachers of the Kogane family should have something distinct."

Emma blinked. "K–Kogane…?"

But before she could ask, Rachel and Gia were already walking.

Half-hidden near the back of the showroom sat a sleek black Mercedes E-Class — older in body style but retrofitted with:

a fully modern touchscreen upgraded interior lighting pristine leather seating premium speakers and a polished silver emblem gleaming like a badge of honor

Gia's eyes softened.

"…This one."

Rachel stepped around it slowly, assessing it like a weapon or battlefield tool.

She opened the door.

The interior lights glowed gently. The seats hugged the body with perfect support. It smelled like quality.

Rachel nodded once.

"Acceptable. Strong frame. Reinforced cabin. Smooth engine rhythm."

Emma beamed. "It's one of our best pre-owned premium models! We fully upgraded every system!"

Gia smiled.

"It feels… elegant. Not flashy — but undeniably high-class."

Then she glanced at Rachel.

"Let's test it."

Rachel smirked faintly.

"Gladly."

Emma gulped.

The moment Rachel sat in the driver's seat, her posture shifted.

She became a pilot.

Focused. Efficient. Dangerous.

Gia sat calmly beside her. Emma sat in the backseat, gripping her tablet with white knuckles.

Rachel started the engine.

VROOOOM.

Emma squeaked. "That… that sounded strong…"

Rachel adjusted her mirror.

"Seatbelts."

Gia fastened hers elegantly.

Emma fumbled. "W-wait, why—"

Rachel shifted into drive.

S K I D — SHOOOM— !!

The car launched smoothly but fast, gliding out of the lot like a shadow slipping across water.

Rachel took corners with perfect racing lines. Smooth braking. Tight acceleration. Flawless control.

To her, this was nothing.

To Emma…?

"OH MY—!! MISSSSS RACHEL—!!"

Emma flew against the seat, hair bouncing, tablet rattling.

Gia? Perfectly calm. Checking her nails.

Rachel? Expressionless.

"This model handles beautifully. Good steering response."

Another corner.

Emma nearly passed out.

"I—I think—my soul—left my body—"

Rachel accelerated.

Gia glanced back, amused. "Relax, Emma. This is normal for her."

Emma whimpered.

"I'm not… built for… combat driving…"

Rachel parked the car with military precision, a perfect 90-degree angle, centered in the spot.

Emma stumbled out, knees weak, gripping the door frame.

Gia stepped out gracefully.

Rachel closed her door gently.

"I'll take it," she said simply.

Emma was too dizzy to speak at first.

Inside, Emma shakily led them to a desk.

"J-just sign… here… and here…"

Gia signed with crisp strokes. Rachel reviewed every detail like a mission briefing.

Emma fanned herself dramatically.

"People usually… test drive… slower…"

Rachel blinked innocently.

"That was slow."

Emma nearly fainted.

The final receipt printed, and the car keys were handed over with a trembling smile.

"Thank you for choosing us! Please… drive safely…?"

Rachel nodded.

"Always."

Emma didn't believe her.

The black Mercedes purred into the Mansion driveway.

Zumi looked up from the front steps as Gia and Rachel stepped out.

Gia lifted the keys.

"Mission complete."

Zumi smiled.

"Perfect."

Rachel stood tall beside her, posture crisp.

"The vehicle is efficient, stable, and ideal for the teachers."

Zumi nodded in approval.

"Good work — both of you."

Gia grinned.

Rachel felt a warm rush in her chest.

Her first mission as Vice Hawk?

Success.

After Gia and Rachel drove off, Emma stood outside the dealership doors… still trembling, but for an entirely different reason now.

Her coworker approached her nervously.

"E-Emma? Are you okay?"

Emma grabbed his shirt, eyes sparkling with stars.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?"

He blinked. "Uh… n-no?"

Emma spun around dramatically, ponytails whipping through the air.

"That woman—Rachel—she… she flipped a grown man like he weighed nothing! And… and she talked so cool! And she drives like a black-ops race car goddess! And—AND—"

She clutched her chest.

"I WANT TO BE LIKE HER SOMEDAY!!"

Her coworker just stared.

Emma stomped excitedly.

"She didn't even BREAK A SWEAT. She just— whoosh! And then— bam! And then— 'I refuse to pay for defending myself.'"

Her eyes sparkled brighter.

"She's so COOL. So calm. So strong. I—I want to become like her! My new role model!"

She squeaked, hugging her clipboard.

"I hope I get to see her again…!"

Gia and Rachel drove the new sleek black Mercedes into the mansion driveway.

The moment Serafina, Bia, and Carmella heard the engine, they all came outside, curious.

BIA

"ooooooohhhhhh—!" Her eyes widened. Her jaw dropped.

"LOOK at that gorgeous beast of a car…! It looks so POWERFUL."

She slid her hand across the hood like she was examining a divine artifact.

"This thing better be fast."

SERAFINA

She circled it slowly, eyes half-lidded, amused.

"Hm… elegant, dark, mysterious… I approve. It suits my aesthetic."

She opened the door, letting her fingers glide across the interior.

"Ohhh, leather stitching. Yes. Zumi—this is my car now."

CARMELLA

The moment Carmella stepped outside and saw the car—

She gasped.

"It's black."

Her voice cracked with emotion.

"It's BEAUTIFUL… Zumi, you bought me a BLACK car…?"

She touched the mirror gently.

"…You know I love this color more than blood."

Then she hugged his arm, looking genuinely touched.

"This is perfect."

Each of the three girls sat inside, touching the controls, inspecting the seats, exploring the features.

All three were grinning.

Mission: success.

Rachel stood at attention, hands behind her back, giving a flawless report.

"Master Zumi. There was an incident at the dealership."

Zumi raised a brow.

"Oh?"

Rachel summarized calmly:

Staff member harassed Gia and attempted to touch her Rachel neutralized him with a flip into a vehicle Staff tried demanding she pay for damages Argument ensued Manager intervened, fired everyone but Emma He apologized and assigned Emma to help

Zumi listened quietly, then stepped forward… and placed a gentle hand on Rachel's head.

She froze.

His voice was calm, deep, warm:

"You handled that very well. I'm proud of you."

Rachel's eyes widened — just slightly — but her ears turned pink.

"Yes, Master."

Zumi crossed his arms, thinking briefly, then said:

"Tomorrow morning… Buy the entire dealership."

Gia nodded instantly. Rachel straightened, ready for orders.

Zumi continued:

"Once it's ours, replace every staff member with Dojima-trained personnel. Keep the manager — he handled things correctly."

Rachel and Gia both nodded.

"And Emma…"

Zumi smiled faintly.

"Make her the vice manager. Or assistant manager. Her loyalty is already forming — she'll be valuable."

Rachel allowed herself the faintest smile.

"She'll be ecstatic, Master."

The teacher trio was still inside the car debating whose playlist would be played first.

Carmella: "Mine. Obviously." Bia: "No, mine. I need WORKOUT music." Serafina: "…All of yours are awful. I'm driving."

Rachel stood beside Zumi, silently observing the chaos.

Gia leaned toward Rachel, whispering:

"Welcome to the family."

Rachel allowed herself a rare, tiny smile.

"…I think I'll like it here."

Once the car excitement settled, Zumi called everyone into the living room.

"All of you who will be using the Mercedes need driver licenses," he said calmly.

Serafina smirked. Bia groaned. Carmella lit up like a goth Christmas tree.

Zumi continued with a faint smile:

"But Carmella will be the main driver."

All the girls turned to her.

Carmella froze, eyes wide before breaking into a proud grin.

"Me…? Really?"

Zumi leaned close, whispering to Gia and Rachel:

"She's the only one who won't crash it from excitement."

Serafina heard that.

"I HEARD THAT."

Zumi raised a brow. Serafina crossed her arms.

"…Fine. Carmella can drive."

Carmella hugged Zumi tightly.

"I won't let you down, my love."

Rachel and Gia exchanged looks.

Gia whispered, amused:

"She's going to baby that car more than some people baby their children."

Rachel nodded seriously.

"…She's earned it."

At 9:45 p.m., headlights approached. Antonio dropped her off and bowed before leaving.

Catherine walked inside, muscular arms exposed beneath her tank top, sweat from training with her father making her skin glow.

Rachel, standing near the stairs, froze.

Her brain short-circuited.

That… that physique. Those abs. Those arms. Those tattoos.

Rachel whispered under her breath:

"…what… a specimen."

Catherine spotted her and smiled shyly.

"Oh! You're Rachel, right? Gia told me about you."

Rachel—usually unreadable—felt her face heat.

"Y–yes. It's an honor."

Catherine chuckled warmly.

"You look strong too. I can sense it."

Rachel nearly died.

Strong too. Catherine thought Rachel was strong too.

Her loyalty bar silently ticked upward purely from admiration.

The wives noticed.

Serafina whispered to Bia:

"She likes muscles. Rachel likes muscles. …This will be interesting."

Bia nodded.

"They're going to bench press each other."

Carmella: "…I want front-row seats."

Gia woke early, coffee in hand, already dialing numbers.

"Rachel," she said, "you'll do the talking today."

Rachel blinked.

"Me?"

"Yes. You need to learn persuasion, negotiation, and bending people without breaking them. It's an art. I'll guide you."

Rachel nodded, excitement hidden behind her stoic face.

Gia placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Rule one: Speak calmly." "Rule two: Apply pressure subtly." "Rule three: If necessary… let them feel your aura."

Rachel smirked.

"…Understood."

Gia handed her the phone.

"Buy the dealership."

Rachel dialed.

The manager answered groggily.

"Hello—?"

Rachel's voice was dagger-sharp and professional:

"This is Rachel, assistant to Gia of the Kogane family. We're buying your dealership."

The manager woke up instantly.

"You—what—"

Rachel continued smoothly:

"You will receive a generous offer. Refusing would be… unwise."

Gia nodded proudly behind her.

The manager nearly choked on his own breath.

"Yes—YES—of course—whatever you need—!"

Rachel glanced at Gia. Gia nodded approvingly.

Within minutes:

Dealership purchased. Signed under: Zumi Kogane.

Gia sipped her coffee.

"That went beautifully. You're a natural."

Rachel felt something warm in her chest.

"Thank you… Gia."

Rachel and Gia walked in, both elegant and terrifying.

The manager sprinted toward them, bowing repeatedly.

"WELCOME! THANK YOU—THANK YOU FOR BUYING US—MY LIFE MAKES SENSE AGAIN—"

Gia raised a brow. Rachel blinked slowly.

"Relax," Rachel said. "You did well yesterday."

He bowed even deeper.

"Yes, ma'am!"

Then—

Emma ran in.

She stopped dead in front of Rachel.

Big eyes sparkling. Hands clasped over her heart.

"You—YOU—YOU—YOU'RE BACK!"

Rachel: "…Yes."

Emma squealed.

"You flipped that man like he was NOTHING! And you drive like some kind of elite assassin racer! And—and—YOU SAVED GIA!"

Rachel… almost smiled.

Gia leaned over and whispered:

"She REALLY likes you."

Emma stepped closer.

"I… I want to be like you. You're my hero!"

Rachel's ears turned pink.

"At ease, Emma."

Emma saluted.

"Yes ma'am!!"

Gia clapped her hands lightly.

"Emma, congratulations. You're now assistant manager."

Emma screamed with joy.

"WHAAAA— REALLY!? ME!? ME!? THANK YOU—THANK YOU—THANK YOOUUUU!!!"

The manager sighed in relief.

"Honestly, she deserves it. She's the only one who works."

Rachel nodded once, approving.

"She has potential."

Emma fainted from happiness.

Gia and Rachel returned with the Mercedes now officially in Zumi's name.

Serafina: "Good. It's ours."

Bia: "Rachel, drive me next time."

Carmella hugged the keys.

"My precious…"

Zumi approached Rachel.

"You both did well."

He placed a hand on her head again. Rachel's heart nearly burst.

"I expect the dealership running smoothly under new management."

Gia saluted.

"It will be flawless."

Rachel nodded firmly.

"It is under control, Master."

Zumi smirked lightly.

"I knew it would be."
