She didn't say anything. Just looked at him with one brow raised.
The boy smiled and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a black credit card and placed it in her hand.
"There's half a million dollars on that," he said.
Olivia took the card and twirled it between her fingers. Then she looked up at him and said with a soft snort, "You really think I can buy five Chanel bags with just half a million?"
The boy blinked. "You can't?"
Olivia smiled brightly. "Nope."
The boy looked at Olivia with curiosity in his eyes. Then he grinned a little and asked, "Aren't you gonna try to impress me or something? I mean, you probably already know I come from a super-rich family."
Olivia raised one brow and gave him a small nod. "You're right. I should be chasing a guy like you. You're rich and not too bad-looking."
The boy smiled proudly, clearly enjoying her words.
But then Olivia tilted her head and added with a calm voice, "But…"
The boy's smile froze.
