Chapter 745 - Chapter 743: Hierarchy

As for the other Poison Spider, Jiang Hai's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. She had looked impressively large from a distance, but now, up close, she appeared even more astounding. Sensing his gaze, the woman smiled and reached out to take his hand. Azarina instinctively stepped forward, prepared to intervene, but stopped short when she saw the woman's intentions were not hostile.

She gently pulled Jiang Hai's hand toward her body, then used her other hand to lower the front of her minimal outfit, allowing the twin mounds previously on display to spill forth again.

"You are my master. You can try me—anytime, anywhere," she said in heavily accented Mandarin, her tone both playful and seductive. Then, with a smile, she guided Jiang Hai's hand to a place not meant to be described. Feeling the warmth and softness in his palm, Jiang Hai had to admit—it felt incredible.

Since she had made her intentions clear, Jiang Hai saw no need for restraint. His other hand climbed up to explore more, kneading gently, reshaping as he pleased.

The Poison Spider let out a soft chuckle and led Jiang Hai to the sofa, where she nestled herself into his lap, letting him continue his exploration without resistance. Though Jiang Hai was surrounded by many women, this one was a first—she brought a completely different kind of thrill. He had to admit, just this pair alone… he felt he could play with them for a whole year.

Meanwhile, the Wolf Spider stood quietly beside Azarina. She understood her role. Her duties weren't the same.

Time, when one is deeply engaged, passes quickly. For Jiang Hai, fully immersed in the pleasures of the moment, that hour felt like minutes.

Soon, the lights on the auction platform lit up again, signaling the start of the second—and most important—phase.

Noticing the change, Jiang Hai shifted his attention away from the soft body in his lap. One hand remained in place, while the other reached for the tablet. He remained seated this time, no longer watching from the window.

"Now beginning the second phase of the auction. Please prepare. The first item will now be presented…" The voice rang out as the platform lowered, then rose again—revealing a tall woman.

Unlike the Spider-tier women from before, she was fully dressed in a sleek black bodysuit that outlined her curves perfectly. She stood nearly 1.8 meters tall, her golden ponytail draped behind her head, and her exquisite features were tightly composed—though a sharp bitterness clouded her face.

Understandably so. At her level, she was well beyond the brainwashing most spiders underwent. She had her own thoughts, her own will. No one in her position would be happy about being sold like an object.

But even so, she couldn't resist. The organization was vast and powerful, and only a few—like the rare Double-Headed Eagles—had managed to escape its control. Sometimes, under the eaves, one has no choice but to lower their head.

"This item: Codename 'Wolf Subordinate 33-4.' Age: 22. Blood Type: A. Height: 181 cm. Weight: 115 lbs. Measurements: 97–62–90.5. Began training at 16. Completed missions: 18 A-rank, 29 B-rank, 13 D-rank, and 2 special ops. Confirmed kills: 161. Skills: close combat, disguise, intelligence gathering, assassination, vehicle operation, fire control, firearms proficiency. Starting price: $100,000. Minimum increment: $50,000. Bidding begins now."

As the bidding commenced, Jiang Hai turned to Azarina.

"What does 'Wolf Subordinate' mean?" he asked.

"The organization started by training all operatives as Spiders, but due to differences in specialization, their roles varied. Once they gained enough experience and completed key missions, they could be promoted to 'Wolves.' Wolves operate in teams," she explained.

"In a typical team, the leader—usually a former Poison Spider—is called the Alpha Wolf. Then there are subordinate wolves, auxiliary wolves, and tail wolves. Subordinate wolves are often former Web Spiders, tasked with gathering intel. Auxiliary wolves usually evolve from Wolf Spiders and provide support in the field. Tail wolves vary—they can come from any background. This woman is a subordinate wolf from the 33rd team."

Jiang Hai nodded, then gave Azarina a look, silently asking if she thought he should buy her.

"I don't know her well," Azarina replied gently. She wasn't one of the people Azarina had come to rescue, so the choice was up to Jiang Hai.

"This one's talented," the Poison Spider said softly with a smile, taking the opportunity to speak. "But she's got a bad temper and a proud personality. You'll need strength to make her submit."

Clearly, she had excellent insight. Knowing her status was below Azarina's, she waited until Azarina stepped aside before voicing her opinion.

"A hot temper? What kind of personality does she have?" Jiang Hai asked, still fondling what couldn't be described.

"She's boyish—doesn't care for appearances or social decorum. Once, in training, she openly defied an instructor to defend a friend. She's strong, but that act got her demoted to a Web Spider. Even so, she independently completed an A-rank mission. The organization noticed and promoted her to a Wolf unit. She's powerful, but very arrogant. If you want her loyalty, you'll need to make her respect you first."

Jiang Hai looked at the woman again. She did seem intriguing. Assassination skills aside—if it came to force, Earthlings were no match for him anymore.

"Let's see how arrogant she really is," he said with a grin. He casually placed the tablet on the Poison Spider's belly—she instinctively held her breath, understanding the play. She was indeed good at reading people.

"4.5 million," Jiang Hai entered, seeing the price had only reached 4.1 million and was rising slowly.

As soon as his bid flashed on the screen, the other boxes fell silent. A few seconds later, the voice announced his win.

The woman glanced coldly toward Box 8—not bowing like the previous girls—then descended from the platform.

"Interesting," Jiang Hai murmured, licking his lips.

The Poison Spider in his arms giggled softly and leaned in again.

Soon, another item was presented—an Auxiliary Wolf, evolved from a Wolf Spider. Jiang Hai immediately lost interest.

Though she was technically female, this one looked far more masculine. Likely Samoan, she stood at a massive 1.9 meters tall and had a face that left one unsure of her gender. Her starting price? $4.7 million.

"She was once a candidate for the Double-Headed Eagle," Azarina said, recognizing her.

"There's a reason for that," the Poison Spider added. "She used a lot of toxic enhancers to build that body. Now she's addicted. Being a regular bodyguard can't sustain her strength, so she's looking for someone rich to rely on."

Several more came after—Wolves, Tail Wolves, Auxiliary Wolves—but neither Jiang Hai nor Azarina found anyone interesting.

Still, the Poison Spider did her best to provide background information on each one, showcasing her excellent intel-gathering skills.

As Jiang Hai absentmindedly rubbed her while listening, a thought crossed his mind—if she really could be tamed, perhaps he could have her investigate the Nazi rumors…

"Boss, the first one is here," Azarina said suddenly.

Jiang Hai looked toward the platform. A woman slowly rose into view—tall, with brownish-red hair, fine features, blue eyes, and a sharp widow's peak. She had a distinct Slavic look, standing around 1.75 meters tall. Though her figure wasn't exaggerated, it was well-proportioned and elegant. Azarina's face lit up as she recognized her.

Jiang Hai checked her information on the tablet:

Codename: Wolf Leader 14-1

Age: 26

Blood Type: AB

Height: 176 cm

Weight: 121 lbs

Measurements: 93–63–90

Training Start: Age 7

Graduation: Age 16

Mission Record: 31 A-level, 72 B-level, 8 D-level, 16 special ops

Confirmed Kills: 361

Skills: Close combat, disguise, intel gathering, assassination, vehicle proficiency, fire control, firearms, electronic systems

Starting Price: $6.3 million

Minimum Bid Increment: $50,000

Jiang Hai raised an eyebrow. The price was already much higher than that of the muscled woman earlier.

"There are only 38 wolf teams in the organization. Each Wolf Leader is elite. This one is the best," Azarina said solemnly.

Jiang Hai watched her silently. Her treatment was clearly different from the others. She didn't have to show her body. She simply stood motionless on the rotating platform, radiating calm control.

The bidding escalated quickly, reaching $8.9 million. A brief pause, then it jumped to $9.1 million.

These were informed bidders—they knew how rare Wolf Leaders were.

But unfortunately for them, today's rival was none other than Jiang Hai.

Without hesitation, he input his bid: $10 million.

"Box 8: $10 million…" the announcer read, and silence fell.

Jiang Hai leaned back, waiting for a fight that never came. Ten million dollars—though not pocket change to others—was nothing to him.

Maybe it was because he earned money too easily, but for Jiang Hai, $10 million was just another number.

"Congratulations to Box 8 for securing the item for $10 million," the announcer declared.

Azarina finally relaxed, visibly relieved. This was one of the women she had come to rescue.

Looking at Jiang Hai, her expression softened with gratitude and joy. He was amazing—winning the first battle with overwhelming force.

Jiang Hai returned her smile with a grin of his own. Whether these girls eventually served him or not didn't really matter.

For the sake of Azarina, even spending tens of millions of dollars was no big deal.
