Chapter 67: Second Night!
A few hours passed, and Ken had just left the doctor's house, leaving Darek and the doctor inside.
By now, the doctor was starting to believe that Darek was the actual leader and not Ken, but evidence of how they treated one another spoke otherwise.
Still, it didn't stop him from being cautious.
Since the day they came to the village, Darek had been following him everywhere, almost observing his every move.
Though, the young man said that he was here to help and not really observing him; in fact, he was very truthful, replying to every question, and in a way, he believed that he was just tasked by Ken to help around because he was trusted.
The two of them were once again sitting on the table watching as Ken's figure left through the door.
Both of the young men knew that today should be the last, though; it was all plans they had agreed upon before reaching the village.
