While they waited for their food, Ella remembered Henry's mysterious guest and turned toward him. "So, is your guest joining us?"
"See? I'm not the only one who's curious." Cassandra raised a mocking eyebrow at Henry.
Henry glanced at Ella. "Shouldn't you be occupied with Alexander?"
"I am," Ella replied with a nonchalant shrug. However, the faint blush spreading across her already flushed cheeks betrayed her.
Henry smirked. "I see." He turned to Alexander. "You must be losing your touch, Alex."
Alexander briefly glanced at him before returning his attention to his phone. "Doubt that," he replied dryly.
Cassandra rolled her eyes. "Can we get back to the important question? Is your guest joining us or not?"
"He won't be joining us for lunch, but he should be out soon," Henry finally answered.
"A he?" Ella and Cassandra exclaimed simultaneously.
Henry looked between them, amused. "Why? Can't it be a he?"
