Sera stepped out of the shadow with the Heartbane in one hand. With limited light coming from the small magical lamps inside the quarry, her usual cold face looked even more menacing. Making her wait for too long, causing her health to decline, how dare these pathetic fools think she would allow them to waste any more of her time?
The leader of the crows assessed Sera again, noting the demonic sword she was wielding.
"Not only are you a heretic mage, you've become a demon-shipper now." He accused her.
Sera hummed, but her expression remained cold. She knew no matter what she said, these crows wouldn't believe her. Their opinions and beliefs were irrelevant to her. Their souls, however, were not.

The system's message was the only encouragement she needed. The more she allowed the crows to live for another minute, the more she lost her precious VP.
