Several hours passed in absolute silence.
The light that had previously streamed softly through the window had changed tone, now brighter and more golden, indicating that the morning had already progressed considerably. The room was quiet, only the distant sound of the wind gently moving the curtains and the occasional creaking of the house's wood breaking the stillness of the environment.
Kael was the first to move.
He let out a small, involuntary sigh as he began to wake up, still trapped in that hazy zone between deep sleep and consciousness. His eyes remained closed for a few seconds as he tried to remember what had happened before falling asleep again.
There was something strange.
Something important.
Something involving… a portal?
