He did not need a signaling organ since he already had the hive mind, but that did not mean it was useless.
The Ravagers used the spines to send commands.
If he copied that behavior, he might be able to mislead enemies.
They would think his Krell communicated in the same way.
He could create a false signaling system.
If he managed to replicate the right pattern, he might even fake Ravager orders and throw enemy formations into chaos.
Next was Armored Hide.
Thick, reinforced chitin plating.
Ben's expression turned serious.
The Brutes had taken multiple hits before going down.
That kind of durability was ideal for frontline units.
