Ben looked around the battlefield and took in the carnage.
Black blood soaked the ground.
Broken bodies of Ravagers and Krell lay scattered everywhere.
His gaze moved to where the Ravager leader had been.
The body was gone.
His fingers tightened into a fist. 'That bastard used the chaos to escape.'
He let out a slow breath and forced his hand to relax.
Chasing after it was not worth the risk.
He had no idea what other creatures were out there, waiting for prey to wander into their hunting grounds.
He could regenerate.
He could fight.
But he was not a battle maniac.
His goal was simple.
Resources and expansion.
Nothing else.
Ben stretched his arms and rolled his shoulders. 'This place will do.' He decided to turn the area into a temporary outpost, a place where he could collect materials and regroup when needed.
He pulled up the creature creation screen and created two Krell Workers.
