To be honest,
if Rosalyne had used a weapon to attack Tartaglia, the damage would've been much higher than using her elemental power.
After all, she was benefiting from Ryen's shared physique.
But pure elemental magic damage—especially Pyro—
just barely being able to deal even a sliver of damage to Tartaglia, who was wearing Fire Protection armor,
was already something she could be proud of.
Rosalyne ended up buying two full sets—
one for herself, and one to send to the Tsaritsa.
And along with that, she planned to urge the Ice Queen to mobilize reinforcements as soon as possible.
Although Snezhnaya was a powerful nation with plenty of Mora,
they couldn't expect to just buy everything from the others, could they?
Now that they had secured an "admission ticket" to this world,
if they didn't work hard to contribute, they couldn't blame others for treating them like cash cows to be exploited.
After equipping herself with a full enchanted diamond set,
Rosalyne also bought three top-tier enchanted diamond swords and three top-tier enchanted bows.
As for firearms?
Those weren't for sale. They were only allowed to craft them themselves.
Experiencing the same equipment that Ganyu and the others wore,
both Tartaglia and Rosalyne were full of emotion.
Just this one set of diamond armor had already elevated their combat abilities by a full tier.
As long as they weren't facing an Archon-level being,
they could hold their own in a real fight.
Venti, who had just earned dozens of billions in liquor money,
promptly paid off his debts to Diluc and boldly placed a new order for another batch of wine.
Just like that, he was once again flat broke.
But for him, as long as he had wine, money was just a number.
As Zhongli's old friend, he didn't care about hoarding Geo shards like treasures.
The group activated a teleportation portal and returned near the Mondstadt base.
At the End Portal, an elevator system had already been built—
so they didn't have to crawl through tunnels like before.
Riding the elevator, they quickly descended into the End dimension.
They arrived at the same platform as before,
but now it had been expanded into a massive bunker.
"Put on your pumpkin helmets."
Ryen handed pumpkin heads to Tartaglia and Rosalyne.
"There are tons of Endermen in the End.
If you look them in the eye, they'll swarm you endlessly, relentlessly attacking until one of you drops."
Tartaglia accepted the helmet, a bit curious:
"Endermen… those are the ones that drop Ender Pearls, right?
Are they strong?"
"Strong?"
Ryen gave a slight laugh.
"For you? Yes, pretty strong.
They can break blocks, teleport, deal high damage, and they're immune to all ranged attacks.
If you don't know how to handle them, they'll wreck you before you know it."
Tartaglia seemed to grow more excited,
but Ryen gave him a sidelong glance and grumbled:
"Don't stir up trouble."
"There are hundreds of Endermen here.
If you really aggro them, you're basically dead."
"We're here to build the Orbital Dragon-Slaying Cannon, not to fight Endermen."
Tartaglia shrugged and obediently put on the pumpkin head.
"Fine, I'll save that for later."
So far, everything in this world had been incredibly thrilling for Tartaglia.
If not for the Tsaritsa's warning for him to behave,
he would've already run off exploring on his own.
Once everyone had their pumpkin helmets on,
Ryen finally led the group onto the mainland of the End.
They continued onward and soon arrived near the End Fountain.
Last time, after slaying the Ender Dragon, they hadn't placed any End Crystals to respawn it, so the area was now empty—
only a few Endermen occasionally flickered in and out of view.
Gazing at the bedrock surrounding the End Fountain, Zhongli grew contemplative.
"You know… sometimes I think, bedrock really is suitable for sealing away Celestia."
"It's an absolutely indestructible and unremovable material.
Not even Celestia could escape from a bedrock prison."
Rosalyne's heart stirred. She asked curiously:
"If that's the case… then why hasn't it been used before?"
"Because it's absolutely indestructible."
Ganyu, standing nearby, shook her head.
"If it can't be broken, then it can't be mined.
If you can't obtain bedrock blocks, how can you talk about using it to seal away Celestia?
It's a dead-end idea from the start…"
Hearing this, Rosalyne could only sigh regretfully.
"Ryen, how do we build the Orbital Dragon-Slaying Cannon?"
Lisa looked at him curiously.
Ryen pointed up at the sky.
"The Orbital Dragon-Slaying Cannon… of course it goes in the sky."
"As for the construction specifics, let's first build a floating platform."
"First step… the height has to be over 200 blocks."
As soon as Ryen finished speaking, the group sprang into action.
Xiao and Diluc started stacking dirt blocks to build upwards, working as scaffolding.
Zhongli and others followed from below, placing ladders.
After so much time spent practicing, everyone had gotten a good grasp of construction techniques.
Before long, a platform was built high up at the specified altitude.
Tartaglia and Rosalyne watched the scene in a daze.
Although they had previously seen the Qianyan Army swiftly build an obsidian cage to lock down Osial,
seeing a floating platform built this fast and from close up was still quite shocking.
Cloud Retainer, now in her crane form, flapped her wings and hovered above, surveying the scene.
"Over there—dispensers, sticky pistons, observers…"
"Lay a row of TNT in the middle… then cobblestone blocks on this side."
"Keep a consistent spacing, and sprinkle Redstone Dust along the cobblestone row!"
"In the middle of the dust line, place Redstone Blocks."
"Redstone rails… I'll handle those."
Ryen gave instructions while piecing together the plan in his mind.
This project was unbelievably complex, with tons of steps involved.
If he remembered correctly, a fully functional Orbital Dragon-Slaying Cannon required over 50,000–60,000 blocks of various types.
Even with this many people,
and even if they had blueprints to follow exactly,
it would still take half a day at minimum to finish.
And Ryen didn't even have a blueprint—
he was entirely building based on memory and experimentation with different mechanics.
Without a day or two, there was no way they could expect a working result.
Still, everyone was so immersed in the fun of this brain-burning construction,
they were all in high spirits.
None of them even noticed the time flying by.
Even Tartaglia and Rosalyne, who initially didn't know what was going on,
unconsciously got involved.
Before long, the once-small platform had expanded to cover hundreds of meters.
The complicated Redstone wiring and mechanical components were laid out with precision and care.
Standing atop it all, Ryen furrowed his brows slightly.
It looked pretty decent so far, but in truth...
Something still wasn't quite right.
