The sterile hum of the office air conditioning was momentarily disrupted by the soft click of the door opening. Flynn, engrossed in reviewing a stack of client reports, looked up to see Ma-ri standing in the doorway. She was dressed in a sleek, form-fitting dress that accentuated her curves, a stark contrast to the usual business attire worn in the office. Flynn raised an eyebrow, not really surprised by her unexpected visit.
