Many Nights Later
As time flew, avoiding the patrolling Serpents became a daily routine. They did their best not to be caught; even so, it got harder to navigate the top floors.
But a plan was made to finish their mission. Their time of lurking in the corridors was about to come to an end.
"We'll take the floors tomorrow night. Sneaking through it won't be enough, we'll use force. Only if we keep the other floors distracted to reduce the numbers we'll face," Kraven explained, his silver eyes shifting to Logi, who had been quiet the entire time.
They had carefully thought of this plan for days and mulled their chances over and over again. It was a full-on war if they had any hopes of reaching Aric.
Aric would use his Serpents like a shield, which meant the numbers were against them, and being brain-dead meant they were about to strike against a tenacious force that didn't feel fear or pain.
For this to work, he needed to make sure they were all on board with this.
