After taking all the supplies from the convenience store, they headed towards the other store, which was a few streets away.
"There are still no zombies," Shaun said as he drove the car.
"Did the mutated tree consume all the zombies in the center of the town?" Leo also said, puzzled as he looked outside through the car window.
Major Kyle was also scanning the surroundings with a frown.
"It's unlikely. There might be other mutated creatures. We need to be careful," Sylas suddenly said. An uneasy feeling started to creep into his mind.
When they reached the store, there were no zombies in sight.
"Strange, why does it feel so quiet?" Major Kyle muttered as he got out of the car.
Sylas' senses were stronger than the others, and he could feel it more clearly. It was pin-drop silence in the area.
No zombies, no mutated plants, and no animals.
"Serena, can you feel any mutated plant nearby?" Major asked Serena.
