Chapter 48 - 48. Missed time

–– Gabrielle POV ––

After the previous ordeal, Clara Ali Ollivander instantly appeared next to me after I had regained the ability to move. I enjoyed it a bit, before she broke my concentration: „Welcome back. So how much do you remember about the last ten years?", she jokingly asked, before seeing my concerned and disbelieving glare: „Two years", she corrected. Two years of lost time, all due to this gift, a combination of my bloodline and aspect.

Imagine, my last year at Hogwarts had already started!

–– Clara Ali Ollivander POV ––

A concerned Gabrielle was a little bit of fun to look at. She moved rapidly through my sphere in the pocket dimension, not sitting still at any point in time until I was finally able to calm her down: „Gabrielle", I shouted due to the distance between us: „I kept Dumbledore informed and it will not be a problem to join now and if needed add another year at school!"

I nearly sent her in another frenzy after I had explained what had happened while she was unconscious. I could thankfully placate her, explaining that she could still visit her family even though she was banished. The acting head of house Delacour had at least stated that in a letter which I got nearly a year later, as he wanted to clear up any misunderstandings so that there would be no remaining bad blood between the factions in this argument. I had not accounted for that, but even though it did not seem like it at the time of the confrontation, he was a very political smart person to hold his current position and due to that position it was also more than likely that he did not fight regularly. Similar to me, he had the needed power and capacity but too little experience to judge some situations or fight opponents that much stronger than him.

All in all it was a nice ending to this kind of unfortunate situation, though I heard that Fleur has even higher expectations to uphold now, as her smaller sister overshadowed her in a highly shocking way.

She hurriedly left for Hogwarts after our small meeting leaving me alone with my thoughts over my research which went splendidly over the last two years. I had improved most of my ward designs and priming potion recipes, got a mastery for wards, published more of my potion research and accidental findings, cultivated and calculated new cultivation technique substages.

Specifically, wards were just general improvements in style, knowledge and application, having tested out most new ideas I had gotten from the impromptu exchange previously.

In potions I primarily played around with dual and tripple brewing, which improved my knowledge about potions even more. One of my published books was about using dual brewing to reduce the needed ingredients of totally different potions, due to which I could decrease the needed material cost for some of my tested potions by up to twenty percent as the more expensive and rare ingredients were substituted with the leaked effect of another potion which was not even remotely as expensive. And the best benefit was, that if everything is done right, you could use both potions without any negative effects except a slightly decreased effectiveness, which I generally held in an under one percent margin, which for such inexpensive potions was not really much as the general tolerance while brewing was somewhere around five percent. This meant that if you had brewed this elementary potions perfectly, which most would be able to do if they can already dual brew, then your effectiveness would still be better than most normal potions in circulation.

I had also learned parseltongue fluently after a few practice chats with Mardok, though I had not yet experimented with the usage of parseltongue for spells, wards, enchantments, potions or anything else really. I completely focused on speaking it. A tiny fun fact I learned accidentally was, that hydra's spoke parseltongue and due to this I could now talk to Mosaic, which was a heavenly feeling!

In the point cultivation I had calculated the next remaining substages of living.

Advanced was to implement an untethered intermediary to route power between all energy bodies without the need to transform into the respective animagus form, which previously was a huge negative side effect of the child energy bodies. This was done through another not attuned energy body, which's only job was to let any type of energy "flow" through. This energy body would be constructed by a ward which I had created expressly for this, as the literal space in the dimension of this energy body would be condensed, shaped, formed and fractured to create the body instead of building it out of a specific type of energy.

Elite built upon this and unites all energy inside of energy bodies of one type into a huge energy reservoir mentally. This means that the energy bodies are still separate but that I was trained enough to be able to use energy from any body at any point in time.

Peak used this and balanced the progress of the different energy bodies so that if an animagus form changes or disappears the progress is not lost or that the child energy bodies are automatically created if I transform into a new animagus form for the first time. This was possible due to the previous mental requirement that the reservoir of energy from the energy bodies was one entity and syncing the state of all the energy bodies. This would also enable the creation of new child energy bodies parallel to the creation of a new main energy body, which I would still be able to do after I had left behind the adept stage.

Changing was all about the animagi forms again, making it possible to slightly change my cultivation technique for each animagus form I had to incorporate special particulars and improve upon them.

I found this after I trained my bloodline a bit, as I wanted to change my primary animagus form, a white fox, to the magical animal or beast kitsune, which stored most of its mana in its tails. The calculations to do this for real needed seven thousand A3 papers, all densely filled with calculations on both sides. These calculations would be intent infused into the untethered intermediary energy body and would automatically detect such things and consequently change the cultivation technique for these types of animagi forms if needed.

Breathing was more difficult to calculate and a tiny bit easier to implement instead. It would make it possible to create multiple energy bodies of the same type of energy. Not exactly the same energy though. Normally you could only have one energy body for mana, but this would make it possible to have multiple energy bodies for mana, just not another one for unattuned mana, but I could make another one for fire attuned mana, earth attuned mana and so on. This also means that I needed to create one of these. To be exact, this time I needed to create six of these, corresponding to two different attunements for all my energy bodies

Each step got exponentially more difficult to both calculate and implement actually, so I was in for one heck of a ride.

My cultivation itself went surprisingly well, as I was able to make it to legendary breathing.

Just now I was actually just starting to form my second energy body and due to my solid foundation I could skip most rebuilding steps and create it directly at legendary newcomer, though it would still take a while to finish.

Well six months of constant uninterrupted cultivation to be exact, as I realized after starting that I could no longer stop, which was very bad as I had not prepared for this scenario. The only thing that kept me alive was converting my absorbed pure mana into nutritions instead of only the not wanted parts. I still looked like a dried up husk after I had finally finished, before jugging a few potions before promptly starting my third energy body, as I needed to strike the metal while it was still hot. I was in a kind of flow, an enlightened state if you would due to which the formation of the second energy body only needed three months. The type of energy, which was mental energy for the third energy body was also an important deciding factor, as I had a lot more of that than lifeforce due to my practice of mind arts.

Luckily I could do this uninterrupted as Gabrielle had previously decided to visit her family in the summer break this year. She had missed them previously and naturally they also missed her after these two years of unintended absence.

After these eight months of gross self neglect I first took a bath, before slowly nursing myself back to health. The worst was negated my the sheer density of mana I was cultivating in and my cultivation technique, so the only real thing that I needed was real deep sleep, for over three days I found out afterwards, as I had not slept in all this time.

Now I was proud owner of two new energy bodies, though they were not even remotely close to filled and would certainly not help in anything. I would still use mana mostly, as I did not have the other energies in such an abundance to absorb at my leisure.

I replied to a letter of Gabrielle, that she would visit me in the winter break before I myself also took a more than earned break, just relaxing over the next few days, before I continued my cultivation towards living newcomer.

I realized pretty fast that after I had succeeded in isolating my main energy bodies to only the human body, that creating child energy bodies was way easier than creating a main energy body from scratch, as I only needed to channel the type of energy and the rest happened nearly automatically, only needing slight adjustments here and there. To be safe I still started with the toad as first test subject, where I succeeded in one day. Not that it was that easy, the energy bodies of a toad were just that small, weak and really pretty useless. I also had to remedy my previous thought process. I had made a mistake in calculating the increase of energy per child energy body, as it was not only dependent on being secondary to the main ones.

Actually it had nothing to do with that. It was an oversight on my part, even though I knew that energy bodies did not have a real hierarchy in the end and only my though upon to better explain it.

This meant, that the capacity of the energy bodies correlated to the size and traits of the animagi forms instead, together with other peculiarities. What I actually tried so hard to incorporate turned out to automatically be valid, as the attributes of animagi forms were mirrored in the energy bodies. The negatives, as seen by the toad, and the positives, as I first theorized and later found out after building the rest of them. I succeeded in building twenty one child energy bodies after three and a half months, though I took small breaks and took more care of myself this time.

I also found the first substage of conscious, which sounded plain simple and stupid. It was to ascend the infinitely near 4D structure of my cultivation technique into the real fourth dimension. And there I hit a bottleneck, as I had no fucking clue as to how, why, what, where, when or any answer to all my questions on that subject.

I had found two leads though. One was an old saying, that you could not go further north after you had reached the pole and another was actually the connection between the two different earths. They were not in different dimensions like the energy bodies but somehow occupied the same space without affecting each other majorly. The first was one of the easiest analogies of what a fourth dimension would look like, while the second hinted, that it was in fact possible to do while the commonly found keyword for this type of effect was phasing, though I did not find anything else on that topic yet.

Due to this I could formulate a rough plan for the stage, as I needed to move all energy bodies into one dimension. This included both the main energy bodies and the child energy bodies. Then I would also need to somehow keep the connection and separation between different types and attunements of energy bodies through a real 4D stable and expandable structure.

So yeah, I had a plan, but I had no idea where to start and what to do, hell I did not even know if it was possible at all, so I went back to generalizing the cultivation technique, which also got harder and harder.
