Serena looked at the people gathered in the city square where Daryus showed that water was no longer harmful to consume. Daryus trusted Serena's power and drank the water straight from the wall after Serena finished cleansing. The people were waiting for madness to consume Daryus, but it had been half an hour since he had drank the water.
"Please, come and test it yourself. I swear on my life that the water is safe now," Daryus said with conviction in his words. "Take the water and drink it. All of you haven't had any water to drink for more than two days, and if you don't drink now, all of you might die, so please, come and drink," he offered the bucket of water to anyone that was willing to take the first step.
An old man raised his hand, his lips dried and covered in cuts due to dehydration. He approached Daryus and cupped his hands as they took the water from the bucket. Everyone watched the old man drink the water in his hand.
