Lu Jinchen sneered when he saw the mocking smile on Si Han's face. Without a second thought, he yanked his hand back and grabbed his collar roughly. His eyes were cold and filled with a silent warning that threatened to explode.
"Stay away from my wife, Si Han," he said, his voice low, laced with danger and tightly controlled rage. "This is my last warning. Don't you dare go anywhere near her again."
But Si Han didn't flinch. Not even a twitch. His smirk widened, slow and taunting, like someone who enjoyed dancing on the edge of a blade. "Otherwise, what?" he asked, tilting his head slightly. "What will you do, Lu Jinchen? Hit me again? Try to scare me off?"
Lu Jinchen's grip tightened, his knuckles turning white.
