The ballroom was filled with laughter and the clinking of glasses. Lu Jinchen stood with a few wealthy businessmen, listening quietly as they talked about stocks, mergers, and the next million-dollar venture. He didn't speak much but only gave an occasional nod.
One of the older men leaned in, swirling the liquor in his glass with a sly grin. "President Lu, we've all seen your empire rise… but not once have we seen your wife. Why's that? Keeping her a secret?"
