Blaize and Isolde met together in the hallway, and they giggled, knowing fully well they were headed in the same direction.
After exchanging greetings, they walked side by side towards Selene's room.
"I am coming before dinner because she was away very early this morning," Isolde said. "The omegas who got her ready this morning said she has somewhere to be with the Alpha."
"Y-Y-Yes," Blaize confirmed.
She had come to see Selene this morning too, and she was not around. She had left already, so she had decided she would wait until evening for her. She had been unable to see her last night, and Blaize was worried that the training was going to be too intense for Selene.
She wanted to speak more to Isolde about it, but they were already at the door. The guards stepped aside, Blaize knocked softly.
To their surprise, Selene opened the door immediately and the joy in her eyes was as clear as day. Her friends noticed her happiness instantly.
