Row was busy packaging herbs when one of the junior omegas hurried to her with panic clearly written all over her face.
"Row!" the omega called breathlessly as she approached her.
Row looked up from her work, her eyes widened in surprise. "What's wrong? Did something happen?" Row asked, standing up immediately and putting the tray away.
"Oh! It's the Alpha, Row. He is here. He is downstairs waiting for the lady Raula," the omega said.
"Oh," Row said, smoothing her clothes and carefully arranging her tray. "The Alpha visits the lady often, so why are you acting like you have never seen him here? Or like it's such a big deal!"
The omega said nothing, but the truth was that she was scared of the Alpha just like everyone else. But these days, with all that had been happening, they were even more scared of the Alpha.
"I'll call the lady. Make sure some refreshment is ready for the Alpha," Row commanded, and then went to call Raula.
