The Coyotes group chat is silent.

I haven't announced a new training schedule, and Clio hasn't asked for one or offered to create one. No one's talked about our semi-final match. There's been no announcement on it being postponed. It hasn't been cancelled either.

We're supposed to be training. I'm supposed to prepare them for the game. But no one says a word.

How could we?

Everyone is scared—locked in their homes, surrounded by their packs, clinging to their wolves waiting for the day they might disappear. There's been a lot of talk about how the suppressants were mandated to take will be issued and how the chip will monitor if we've had them or not; but no official has mentioned it's effect. When a journalist dares to ask, the response is some vauge form of 'It won't hurt and it'll be good for them. Don't orry about it.'

There is too much to worry about.

My people are afraid.
