Rihro turned to make his way up the tunnels, back to Tryphon's bedroom, where death would be waiting for him.
An image of him getting stabbed in the heart just like Traig, came to her head. She wanted to shove the thoughts aside, to have hope that he'll survive. But it was the reality, there is no survival for someone who runs into the enemy's den. And at the moment, Tryphon's chamber and the whole palace was enemy territory.
They would kill him the moment they find out Tryphon has left the palace. And what hurt her the most was that he knows that is his fate and is willing to go in even with that.
