"This cannot be happening," Lyne gasped as she clenched the letter in her hands.
In the midst of her confusion and rage, she rushed to the only other person she believed would be able to share in her mix of emotions.
She stopped in front of her sister's bedroom door and did not even bother knocking.
"Trin, Trin, Trin, you need to see this, I cannot believe it," she said.
"Have you forgotten how to knock?" Trin frowned.
She placed down the piece of cloth she was patching up and she looked at her sister.
"Yes, yes I have, because this piece of news I come bearing is enough reason to forget how to knock," Lyne said.
"Lyne, what is it this time? Stop overreacting," Trin stood up and shook her head.
"Look, look at the letter I have just received," Lyne rushed in front of her.
"Since when did you start receiving letters?" Trin frowned.
"You know what I mean, anyway, read this," Lyne put the letter in front of her sister's eyes.
