Milra sighed, here she was roaming the castle halls like a jobless idiot. She was indeed jobless, after all, Angelica had dismissed her for almost the entire day, and she did not know what else to do.
On top of that, she was unsure if being dismissed so early was a good thing. On one hand it meant that her workload was less, but on the other, her stress levels were higher than ever. She felt lucky that on her first day, Angelica's mother had come to visit, or else she was unsure if she would be able to bear the entire day with no help.
Milra entered the kitchen. It was a safe haven for most of the maids, they often stayed here when they had finished their duties for the day and when they were idle, to which she was both at the moment.
"You are back here, what do you need?" the cook asked as soon as he saw her.
"I need something to do, I feel so empty," Milra replied.
"Why? Were you not sent on an errand?" he frowned.
